These candles are very pretty and nice at night. They don't look bad during the day either. My only complaint is that they do not hold the charge very long. You almost have to charge them up everyday to keep them going through the night. The remote control is a little confusing but that's just me. Quality is nice and I love the flicker!

Love these at night

To be clear, these candles are gorgeous, especially at night. In daylight conditions the wick looks very white and very fake, but I can say the same for every flameless candle that I've purchased. Apart from the flame, the candle itself looks like real wax wrapped beautifully with mini lights. When placed together, they light up the whole room. When placed separately in the same room, they also cast off a nice light. This is especially appealing in the event of a power outage, which is always a possibility with the stormy weather we've been having. These candles are both beautiful and practical.I do, however, have a couple of criticisms. Firstly, the dye on these candles is problematic. The styrofoam packing material arrived with dye all over it. This should have been a sign, but I had no idea it would come off on my fingers and everything I touched! Unfortunately I realized this when I plugged in a white charger cord for my phone. The red dye is clearly visible on the cord, and it won't come off. My fingers were still very red with the dye and had to be washed with soap. I later forgot about it when I was experimenting with different locations for decorating, and again the dye smeared on other items. I am planning to wear gloves the next time I move them. Luckily the remote control works well, so as long as they're stationary they can be operated without handling them.My other concern is that it took over an hour to charge them. I'm not sure how long the charge lasts, as they have only been turned on for short periods and have not required recharging.These candles really add a touch of beauty to your room. One very nice feature is that the strand of lights can be turned off to conserve the battery. This is my plan for sunny days. We've had lots of rain lately, and under these conditions I love looking at the candles when they're all lit up!This set would also make a nice gift.

These 3 candles have both a flame like central bulb as well as an exterior wrapping of tiny fairy lights. The are a lovely way to avoid the hazard of real flames (we have kids and pets) and still enjoy candles. The remote and timers seem to work easily and consistently. Highly recommended.

Even if its FULL CHARGE, it only last for 2 days or sometimes just 1 day and half.

I love using flameless candles of all colors, shapes, and sizes in my decor. Unfortunately, they've all made me a slave to the AA/AAA (and even D) battery charger. I'm constantly cycling batteries.Not a problem here. The set comes with a four-headed USB charger, but you won't need that right away, because the candles arrived with a nice charge that lasted me about three weeks before needing to plug them in (4 hours per day, using just the candle feature). Recharging was complete in just a couple hours, and we're back to full brightness on my mantle.The wrap-around string lights are a bit... strange? With the traditional candle feature? I'm not currently using that, because my Valentine's mantle already features a long string of plug-in fairy lights, and it was overkill. But they are very bright and festive, and would look at home in an otherwise unlit holiday or Valentine's display.I love the programming features that the remote offers. 2, 4, 6, or 8 hour timers. The candle can flicker, or act as a steady light. The candle can be lit without the string lights (as I've been doing). The level of light can be dimmed or brightened.My only issue is that I received burgundy candles, when they were represented as bright red, so they don't really mesh with the rest of my Valentine's decorating. They'll be perfect at Christmas, though.

I got tons of compliments but unfortunately on the 8 hr cycle they only lasted 1 day. I charged them and then didn't use them until our Christmas eve dinner.

You're able to position them so you can see the whole flame effect.You can recharge them all at once with the included USB adaptor that includes pigtails. This feature eliminates the need for constant battery replacements. Many sets like this require batteries that need to be replaced. The set also comes with a remote control. It allows you to adjust the brightness and the flickering effect of the candles from anywhere in the room. However, I'm disappointed with the remote. You need to be practically on top of them for it to work. More often than not, they don't all respond at once so you need to repeatedly press on until all 3 light. Also, there isn't any memory feature of your last setting which is inconvenient.I was impressed with the starlight string technology. Each candle is wrapped in a string of lights that twinkle like stars!The candles are made of real wax, which gives them a natural glow. You can tell the wax from plastic candles. They look more charming and realistic. The flickering flame effect is quite realistic, although I was hoping for it to be a bit more lifelike like the ones that seem to sway side-to-side. But don't get me wrong, these are good. They look very realistic, especially when you don't directly focus on them.This candle set looks so nice that I'm using them year-round. I leave starlight string lights off outside of the holidays. I usually have them on my coffee table keep them on low and find they bring a touch of warmth to the room. They look great even when not on.Overall my experience has been positive. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice set of rechargeable candles, despite a quirky remote control and a flame effect that could be improved.
