Great "minimalist" holster for LCP 2
Wow.. so far I'm really impressed..(UPDATE: I've now been carrying with this for about a week and it is very comfy, rides well, gun sits flush against your side with no flopping about, and the smaller clip really holds the holster tight to the belt.)Overall I'm really impressed with this holster..First off I read another review about being able to order with a 1.5" belt clip to fit my 5.11 carry belt.. So I went ahead and emailed the seller after ordering... and within less than an hour they responded that they would ship it with the smaller belt clip..GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...Second this arrived in on 3rd day, even though it was not listed as prime...again... great customer service.OK.. the holster itself... the overall fit and finish is top notch.. better than any other Kydex holster I own. The molding is spot on with the LCP 2, it is well formed and covers where you need it to, but also is cut low enough to allow an easy grip on the handle when drawing from IWB. Ps.. the gun sits fairly low on your waistline... the bottom of the grip is just above the pantline.. this makes for a comfortable carry and makes for good concealment. The holster was set up for easy draw without any adjustment to the retention screw. The gun easily slips into the holster and has a good "snap" when it is fully seated thanks to the trigger guard molding being done just right.. The gun pops free easily when drawing and is snag free all the way out of the holster. As you can see in the attached pictures there is no extra material sticking out at the bottom of the holster.. its been very nicely trimmed to give you a comfortable fit without any sharp edges. The Clip is great.. it is just wide enough at 1.5" (custom ordered) to snap onto my gun belt with no extra room to allow it to be sloppy. The clip stands off of the holster enough to fit through my double thick gun belt (5.11 double duty) with ease and the hook at the bottom of the clip fully hooks under the edge of the belt. There is a little tab that makes unhooking the clip easy enough. There is no cant adjustment so the gun rides pretty strait up and down. I think this is fine for such a small gun..The way the kydex runs up the side of the gun keeps the slide off your body and will keep any sharp edges away from you..P.S. the knurling on the grip of the LCP 2 is pretty aggressive and may rub your skin, causing irritation.. so you may think of wearing an undershirt with this gun...unless you want to take a little sandpaper to the grip to smooth things down a bit.Add in the great price of $30 for Carbon Fiber Kydex (which looks really nice) and you can't go wrong with this little holster.. Thanks for not charging extra like most companies do for the Carbon Fiber pattern..I'll update this review once I get some real carry time in with this holster...

For a lefty, it's a great price, great fit, and overall a great product.
I'm a lefty with a S&W Shield. This is your typical, basic taco-style kydex holster. The kydex used is either the thinnest or the middle (certainly not the heavy stuff). It has a screw to adjust retention. The great thing about kydex holsters is that you can remove extra material if you so desire, therefore, I'd rather it have too much material than too little. The photo is extremely representative of the holster I received. Only a few mm of the slide and none of the other metal parts are exposed against my body (I wear a t-shirt, so it's somewhat moot anyway). What was very important to me is that it cover the mag release as being a lefty, I could bump up against something just right and release the mag. I also wanted something that would fully cover the trigger. Again, being a lefty, the safety on the Shield (I have a Performance Center version and they don't have the option without the safety) is small and not simple to switch off in a smooth motion when drawing. So, I will not use the safety (and if it were available without the safety, I'd have gotten it without the safety). Also, the holster uses screws to attach the belt clip to the holster. There is a "bump" to ensure that the screws aren't rubbing up against the slide, which is very nice. The belt clip is stiff and I have no concerns about it coming off my belt. It's actually a bit difficult to get onto my belt, but that's fine. Once it's on, it fits great and snug. The only improvement I can see for the clip would be to have two narrower clips where a belt loop could fit between them. However, that's just nit-picking and I don't think I've ever seen a holster that does.I'm a big guy, so YMMV, but I expected a formed piece of kydex to be uncomfortable , but it is not. It's at least as comfortable as not having a holster and just tucking it in my jeans. If my hip bone weren't padded, I might feel differently.Cons: Heavier weight kydex may have been nicer, but it could have also made it uncomfortable -- simply not sure. Clip is very stiff, but does hold securely.Pros: Price, fit, generously cut (I could remove material if I wanted a more minimalist approach, but you can't add more material obviously). Minimalist design (again, it has plenty of kydex, but it doesn't have anything it doesn't need. It's not thicker than it needs to be, and has no "fancy" stuff -- it is a purpose-driven design). Can be carried in any position (I carry at 9 o'clock). All of the edges of the kydex are rounded, so no sharp edges. The finish on the edges looks really, really nice, not like a home-made holster (which is what I was expecting). It comes in a left-handed version -- not everyone cares for the lefties.

Great minimalist holster.
I usually carry my LCP in a front pocket holster, but that means I've had to leave my gun at home when I'm wearing workout gear or shorts without pockets. I bought this little holster and it has worked great. The only "flaw" as some have mentioned, is when trying to reholster, the front of the gun can get caught on the mouth of the holster. I thought something might be wrong at first because it appears to dip inward there. Upon further inspection, however, it is obvious it is just an optical illusion. Just past the mouth of the holster there is a space provided for the screws that hold the belt clip. That "space" makes it appear that the holster is dipping inward and closing off the mouth...it isn't. If this offset wasn't there, the screws for the belt clip would scratch the gun. I also read a review where someone mentioned the magazine release not being covered. That's not really true. It is covered. There is a small bit of the button still exposed but even when deliberately trying to push on it it was really difficult to eject a magazine. With the holster worn IWB it is impossible to inadvertantly eject a magazine. The retention screw works as it should and there's a positive "click" when the gun is seated. The belt clip works great as well and I was able to get a longer one for use with different size belts. All it took was an email. As it is, this is actually a really well thought out little holster with excellent customer service backing it up. Definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed.
