Great value for trying out gyokuro
Am trying to get into the different green teas and wanted to try gyokuro. This was a reasonable price and a good value for just starting out. I need to work on my steeping technique of temperature, but my partner said he could taste the difference in the tea compared to sencha. He could taste and smell the umami in the gyokuro and said it tasted more premium than the other random teas I've bought.

Trusted brand, great value
If you want it strong and bold , 5 minutes and maybe even a little more...and two teas bags per cup. Great if you are trying to cut back on coffee. You can drink it with milk and sugar/honey.

Some of the best sencha in a bag available
You’re not going to find anything better than this sencha. So stop looking and buy it. The Goyokoro is also great!

A Unique Green Tea
This definitely smells roasted; it has an interesting and unique scent to it. I did my due diligence and pulled out my variable temperature kettle for this, as it requires a water temperature of 180 degrees. Green tea can become very bitter at higher temperatures, so I wanted to follow the directions exactly for the best possible experience. It only wanted a steep time of 30-60 seconds, which is very short, but it produced a very dark-colored tea in 60 seconds, and I had no problem extracting the bag with confidence that the tea wouldn't be weak.It doesn't taste like green tea; I'd say it reminds me more of black tea but with a more complicated flavor profile, like oolong. I can't say I've had anything like it, and I own a large collection of teas. The bags come wrapped in foil sachets. The bags themselves are made of mesh with a string attached. At the MSRP (9.99 for 10 bags at the time of review) it seems very reasonable for a unique tea experience.

Reminds me of the taste of coffee
I love green tea and wanted to try something different so got this roasted green tea. First it comes in a box that isn’t sized like your typical tea bag box. It is more elongated than typical, if that matters to you for storage purposes. The bags are individually wrapped which is nice for using for guests. It comes in a lovely mesh tea bag. The bag spilled a little powder when I was putting it in the cup which meant I had a little powder in my tea, but it wasn’t bad. The tea has a rich dark color, my picture is with hardly any steeping I didn’t want it too strong. The aroma of the tea reminds me of a roasted coffee smell, but not as strong as coffee. I am comparing everything to coffee, but the roasted taste really does remind me of coffee. If you like coffee, you will probably love this drink. It has some green tea notes, but they are very subtle. Mostly you taste the rich roasted flavor of the tea.

Surprising Taste
I'm trying to develop a taste for green tea and I dont think these help at all because they have such a surprising taste. This tea ends up being more of an Oolong taste for me without the grassiness or vegetal flavor that I expect in green tea. This is decently strong but smooth and very drinkable. So while I can't use this to get a taste for green tea, I can drink and enjoy it for what it is.The tea bags are nicely made, love the individual packaging for travel and sharing. Seems like a very high quality tea. Very happy with it!

Quality tea
This tea is pretty good. It is packaged in such a way that the flavor is well-preserved. To me, this tea does not taste like other green teas I've tasted but it tastes more like a milder black tea. Like black tea, this tea is good by itself, with creamer or with sweetener. The instructions say to mix one tea bag with a large cup of hot water. I am using 12 oz of boiling water. That seems to be the right amount, but like with any tea you can water it down or use less water to modify the flavor you want.
