Micron Pens set of 12
These pens are supplied in a thin, plastic film wallet so you will need to find other storage - what a pity they didn't come in a cardboard box.According to the description they are waterproof and fade resistant (no mention of light fastness). I like the depth of the black they produce and in general am pleased with the results of using them.Be aware, the numbers on the pen caps do not match the thickness of the line produced by the pen. Actual thicknesses of the line produced are written on the barrel of the pen in small font, and they are also on the product page. They are as follows:- 005 (0.2mm) 01 (0.25mm), 02 (0.3mm), 03 (0.35mm), 04 (0.4mm), 05 (0.45mm), 08 (0.5mm), 1 (1mm), 2 (2mm chisel tip ), 3 (3mm chisel tip), Br - brush tip.Overall - good starter set of pens.

I use the pens for fineline illustrations and writing which they are excellent for. I recommend them for this purpose.

Perfect for intricate doodlers!
Despite owning a great iPad/Pencil I am still a total sucker for writing/drawing/doodling with fine point pens on paper! The finer the better - and so this set of pens really did get my attention (most pens that are billed as fine point are usually anything but fine!).These pens feel really nice and are actually as fine as the seller claims… they are a little shorter than I expected but only by about 10mm.They all look exactly the same except for the printed 0.1, 0.2 etc information about the point width and so it’s a tiny bit of a faff finding the right pen size for you amongst them all - not sure what else they could have done to differentiate the pens though and so this is probably normal for a set of pens like this. They feel nice and balanced in use - and the point thicknesses do seem to be accurate … its a joy writing/doodling/drawing with them as the really slight differences in point thicknesses enables you to create all sorts of nice textures and shadings and detail. I can’t really measure the accuracy of the claimed point size without a microscope .. but each pen is very very slightly bolder than the previous sized point - starting at a very very fine 0.1mm. Much finer than anything you’ll find in the supermarket stationary aisle. As with all such pens, the concern will always be whether the point will wear down before the ink runs out (or v v of course)… and how long it will take for this to happen? ~ these have been going strong for about a week now and show no signs of running out of ink or the points wearing away... and I've done a lot of doodling!. Recommended.
