I absolutely love this book. I fell in love with these characters from the very first page. This story is about over-coming obstacles in life and how to find oneself again. This book brings out lots of emotion all the way through. Several times I would find myself laughing, then yelling, then trying to throw my kindle, to fanning myself and a little of everything in between.Adam has his rules and that’s how he lives his life. He never breaks them and they are there for a reason. Adam has been burned before and now he guards his heart with his life and to Adam all women are the same. He uses them until he is finished and moves onto the next… until Ainsley. Before Adam even meets Ainsely he is attracted to her but when he actually sees her for the first time he knows she might be a game changer.Ainsely has also suffered her fair share of tragedy and sadness. She has recently broken up with her boyfriend and is just looking for a little fun. Ainsely also grew up in a childhood that wasn’t picture perfect. She doesn’t want to end up depending on someone so she decides to try something fun. Ainsely knows that she could easily fall for Adam but she is trying her best to follow the rules.This book is so much more than love and lust. There were times I wanted to SCREAM and throw a fit at some of the things from both Adam and Ainsley’s pasts. There are many times throughout this book Adam pissed me off SOOOOO bad. I wanted to smack him a few times. But I could also see where he was coming from. Ainsely is such a sweet loveable character and I adore her! I can’t wait to start Brandt’s story next but Adam and Ainsely will forever be in my heart!!

Where do I begin...This was HOT, heartwarming, daring and so much more. I love Kristin's writing so reading her next series after the Trust Me series I knew I was in for a treat. Every time I see a Tantra chair on the future I will think of all the hot steamy scenes involving Adam and Ainsley with that chair! My heart broke for her and her mom, growing up with a monster who claims to be your father, I wanted to be there for them and seeing Adam be there for both of them that was a gold star for him every time. Patient and not letting his past relationship with Selena try to damage his ideas of having a true relationship with Ainsley was refreshing. I thought Adam was going to be this all consuming alpha that had a grudge against people being close to him but he kept reminding himself that that was in the past, and Ainsley was nothing like the women before her. I like blunt spoken characters, especially if talking about expectations and wants in a relationship, sometimes you dont need all that added drama on top of what's going on in the plot. Finding the punk that was taking pictures was a neat story but I was happy that when it came to Adams brother trying to put a wedge between him and Ainsley that it wasn't dragged out, short sweet and I loved that it was Ainsley that stood up to his brother, I mental high fived her for that.I'm really excited for book two for Brand's story, lots of juicy story there with his addiction and with his former ex Nicola. The epilogue was a great intro to the next book, can't wait!

This blew me away. Adam and his best friend own a nightclub with a sex club attached to it. Ainsley comes in to get a membership after being dumped by her scheming boyfriend. Adam and Ainsley decide to have an exclusive sex only relationship with each clear that is all its going to be. Yeah....of course.... Added into the mix is her father who divorced her mother after beating her for years, Adam's ex girlfriend who left him for his brother, and a host of friends and colleagues. There's violence, jealousy, fear, confusion, regression and lots of lust and sex. Communication is lacking at times but fortunately love survives. The characters are well written and the dialogue is honest. There's nothing gratuitous or out of the realm of possibility. Can't wait for book 2.

The editing was fine, the storyline was decent, but still not sure how I feel about the delivery. This book felt a bit immature and cheesy, like when Ainsley told Nora (3xs in a row), ' he said he loves me.' The way they professed their love and feelings for each other was so cliche-I couldn't take it.....".you are my forever, I feel the same way....I'm glad to have you back in my arms,I'm glad to a have u in back in my arms too....Oh Adam, I feel the same way. " There is definitely improvement needed with the sex scenes. There are over before they even get started.So if you are looking for a book to escape reality, young love that goes overboard with the expressive feelings then you will enjoy. I definitely think that this author has great potential, maybe future books will flow better, and not feel so immature.

As with all of Kristin's work, Ripple Effect was another outstanding story that drew me in from the very beginning.This story focuses on Adam Ryker and Ainsley Pearson. Adam's past relationship ended in utter betrayal. Since then, he has guarded his heart by only having casual, physical sexual relationships with women is his sex club....no strings attached works for him. Ainsley too had her heart broken and is in need of change in her life. Her best friend suggests Club Envy....a sex club for Ainsley to explore herself and feel free. From the moment these two met, sparks flew...the chemistry between them is sizzling!! Adam wants Ainsley exclusively to belong to him while at the club, but again no strings, no hassles. Ainsley agrees to his proposition because she believes she wants the same thing as Adam...no drama just sexual gratification with a consenting partner, behind the doors of Club Envy.As they spend time together though, both start to feel something...something more than just a fling between them. Adam learns things about Ainsley's past that has shaped her to who she in the present, and why she is the way she is. In return, Ainsley gets answers to some questions about why Adam only does casual. It's during this part of the book, Kristin lets us know about Ainsley's past...living with her parents and what she was witness to. As her past collides with her present, Ainsley and her mother are forced to face their demons. Will these demons interfere with their lives, their safety? Will Adam be the support Ainsley needs? Will Adam admit his true feelings or continue guarding his heart?The secondary characters in this book also make it was it is....spectacular!!! I can't wait to learn more about Brandt (Adam's best friend and business partner at Club Envy). The friendship between them goes way back and it's evident they have each others back. Brandt has his own issues we will learn more about in Kristin's next book Domino Effect. Ainsley and Nora are besties and it shows!! They are more like sisters. Nora's mother and her little sister also think the world of Ainsley. She always puts others needs before her own...something Adam realises early on in their agreement.If you want to learn more about this couple and their amazing journey, purchase this ***** read!!Way to go Kristin...you did it again!!!!!!Love ya girlfriend!!

I did enjoy this book.Two people that had emotional past.Use each other for sex find that they can't love without each other.

I always finish a book but this book was so bad I skimmed the middle section and didn't bother with the end. It's a very basic book, boring story and the character's were not interesting or likeable. The book lacked substance and was written in a childlike manner.

Again a follow up novel to the series, introducing a character in a previous book and then bringing that character to the fore in this book and The Dominic Effect.

Really enjoyed this book. Its got depth to the story as well as the people in it feeling real and grounded. Loved the experance and journey it took me on. The sex was a bonus to a fab read.

Ainsley and Adam are great characters,they have a lot of ups and downs to deal with,brant also has a lot to deal with fantastic story would highly recommend

Adam is the hot owner of Club Envy wanting a sex only relqtionship at his club. That all changes after a chance meeting with Ainsley at the club. Both attracted to the other both with baggage from exes & family. It was wonderful how these two found each other & their no strings arrangement became more.I liked that the sex never ventured in the BDSM type sex you get at the sex clubs, there's was a more normal, slightly vanilla but steamy. Adam did so much for Ainsley which was nice. Lots of drama & sadness however it was surprisingly a very good read.
