I am very happy with this spatula/turner overall. I’ve had it for a couple months and there’s a very small chip on the side, but I can’t recall how it happened so it could have been my own fault (maybe it was dropped). Does not affect its performance. I was looking for a wooden turner with a fine, very thin tip so I could easily turn things that require a little more precision (such as over easy eggs). Most wooden spatulas have a thicker end and are basically only good for stirring. Not this one! Nice thin, tapered end so I can actually flip pancakes, burgers, omelettes, etc. The wood is a beautiful color and appears sturdy and well made.

We are unhappy with the way food sticks to this spatula. Our pans are all nonstick now, and metal is a bad idea. I've tried nylon, plastic and silicone. Nothing cuts up frying hamburger, turns eggs or flips pancakes like metal. Finally decided to give the wood a chance. Nope. Everything sticks to the edge and makes a gummy mess. The Teak is pretty, so guess I will just look at it!
