It’s a hosepipe
Connect it to a tap turn on and water comes out the other end

A good, average garden hose
I needed a long 25 metre hose to reach around to the front of the house. This hose does that, though it is a bit cumbersome to coil it up again after each use. It's not as heavy duty as I'd hoped, it has occasionally kinked since I bought it. It's a good average garden hose.

A hoze for life.
I always thought a hose was a hose. Well I was wrong. I have lived in my house for 20yrs and I have went through a few hose's. They always get kinked running them up the drive way. When they get kinked they weaken over time and eventually they burst. So I decided to buy this yoke because of the warranty. So far I have only used it a couple of times but the amazing thing is when you wind it up again. Because it doesn't kink it doesn't get caught on stuff. It's a small thing but it makes using a hoze a good bit easier. Also I really don't think I'm going to live for another 25years so it's a hose for life which makes it worth the money.

It’s Hozelock, it works!
Having patched and joined the old hose several times I invested in this new Hozelock pipe with the smart casing and is doing a great job … as always, a brand you can trust

Great quality hose
Great quality heavy duty hose, a bit stiff as a consequence (as I had expected) .

What a con
It is promoted as having a 25 year guarantee. When it arrives the cardboard sleeve states that it has a 25 year guarantee. But look at the Statement of Warranty on that card which, unsurprisingly, is the part NOT shown on the website, and it becomes clear that the Warranty applies ONLY in Australia or New Zealand. What a con.

Robust and does not kink
Anti kink was key for me after 20 years of kinky misery with my old hose. After 4 weeks of use - The straight yellow line patterns allow you to see a slow and steady twist from being constantly rolled up and pulled out off a wall mounted reel but it has never kinked. Solid construction does make it a bit stiff. So it seems my kinky life is over

Different to what was expected!
After putting up with the standard Hozelock for so long with it's problems of kinking and twisting over time, I decided to go for one of Hozelock's better hoses to replace the old yellow hose that was removed from the hose reel and ditched. Firstly, the Amazon product description has the wrong length 15m. Careful scrutiny of the Hoselock picture before ordering, the packaging showed 25m which is what I wanted and what actually arrived. After carefully removing the bands holding the hose in the packaging, it was clear that this hose is both heavier than expected and quite stiff. It also has three yellow ridges along its length that presumably stop it from kinking. I fitted my old Hozelock end fittings that needed slight easing of the grips to allow the hose into the fitting. I would recommend buying new hose fittings if you want to avoid this and any possible leaks. Also make sure the fittings are done up really tight. The stiffness of the hose made it quite difficult to fit it onto the reel outlet fitting; it's best to remove this from the reel. Once the new hose was fitted to the reel and the other end with its end connector I laid the hose out as it was still in coils from being packaged. It took a fair bit of untwisting of the coils before it laid flat and then I wound it onto the reel. The standard Hoselock reel was just able to hold the 25m. First use this afternoon to wash the car, and it performed well. It doesn't crush on the reel as with the old hose, and it didn't kink or twist when unreeled. The reel with the hose on is very heavy but as the reel has wheels this won't be a problem. The hose is quite stiff in the hand when using a spray attachment, but again, this is not really a problem - just needs getting used to.
