Jati Teak Wood Occasional Square Garden Side Table Brand, Quality & Value

This item is delivered flat-packed, whereas it had been described as being delivered fully assembled when I placed the order. A slight inconvenience but one that only cost me around twenty minutes in terms of assembly time.I have put a lot of garden furniture together in the past and this is one of the easiest pieces to assemble that I have ever tackled. The four legs each have two bolts firmly attached and these slot into pre-drilled holes in the corners of the table and are secured with nuts. You probably don't need any tools to put this together but I used pliers to make sure the nuts were fully tightened.The finished table certainly bears very favourable comparison with other garden furniture. Whilst it is self-assembly, all fixings are hidden away on the interior so there are no visible screws to detract from the overall appearance. It feels solid, well made and is a good height at 50cm (the top is 50cm x 50cm). Overall a very nice piece of garden furniture.Update May 2018I am amazed to see how long I have owned this table, which remains sound and with no sign of rot. I added teak oil three or four years ago but decided to stop maintenance at that point and have left it to weather. It actually looks a nice silver-grey now and I am pleased with my decision. I like the table so much that I have decided to get another to place in a different part of the garden. Other garden furniture has come and gone in the time I have owned this table but this just keeps going strong.Update: almost three years on from my last update and my table remains sound and is now a mellow grey, requiring no upkeep other than an occasional wipe to remove bird mess and some moss. Other items have come and gone in the meantime, but this has stood the test of time, with the bench and chairs from the range lasting equally as well. They were not the cheapest items of garden furniture I have ever bought, but the pieces have provided the best value given the length of time they have survived outside all year round and without any protection whatsoever.

Good solid table with easy to attach legs... needed a bit of tidying up of a few rough edges, before applying teak oil and putting in the garden where it has been in use every day since!

This wooden table is sturdy and looks lovely. I used a boat teak oil on it and it really came up nice.

I bought this teak side table for the garden, it is exactly what I wanted, sturdy and easy to assemble, with the legs being numbered to aid correct assembly. The original one I purchased had one leg shorter than the others, and I was planning to modify the other three, as I could not be bothered to send it back. I posted a 3 star review, stating the issue. The next morning I received a phone call from Jati saying that they could deliver a replacement the following day! The table duly arrived on time and fully assembled. That's what I call service!

These substantial side tables were delivered by our postman who fortunately has a van. I would have given these 5 stars but for the statement that they are fully assembled - they are not. So that cost a star. The screws used to attach the legs to the top were not always properly aligned to the holes - so I had to use a rubber mallet to overcome that issue. That cost another star, as not everyone will have a rubber mallet.The assembly took no more than 10 minutes per table.So if you do not mind doing the assembly yourself and you also have a rubber mallet then buy these tables - they look magnificent in the garden.

Exceptionally good value for money,very easy to assemble. It took me less that twenty minutes. Sturdy and pleasing to look at. No rough edges.

Good solid tables ideal for outdoor use, and good value for money

Very solid and well made, which is exceptional for most of the small tables I looked at. It looks really nice - I oiled it although it says this is not essential.Somebody commented that the leg holes did not line up but the legs are numbered to be matched to the correct corners [presumably they were drilled individually] and all fitted perfectly.I recommend this table.
