Very Sturd, I feel safe sitting in it. Fits inside my tub nicely.
Very Srurey? Safe, easy to put together. Would like to know which slightly padded seat to buy so the drain holes will match up. Ordered one but holes DONOT match up. Will r Erie. The blue padding. In fact I don’t think I really need it but thought it might keep the chair from being to cold to sit on at first. Could warm it up running warm water over it first.

Good price.
Its October 23, 2023. I bought this back in 2019 and it still works great! A few things to remember, the legs are thin aluminum, the more you raise it, the quicker it will begin to fail. Make sure the legs are planted level in the tub/shower. Don't park a leg up on an unlevel surface. SIT in the middle of the seat... not on the sides. Everthing must stay level for maximum benefit! I use mine once to twice a week for about an hour each time. I always take it out and let it dry, I do not leave it wet in the shower. This is four years later and I have no issues at all! I totally had to update my review! Great product, very fair price! (And no, I received nothing in return for my review!).

I'm Impressed with this Shower Chair over others that I've had... Please Read Comments
The chair is pretty solid once put together. <<< Pictures are not in the order of my review >>> The legs measure between (17 3/4" to 18" SQUARE) meaning it measures the same both way, side to side and front to back. (pic 1) in (pic 2) I am showing the construction from an upside down angle. in (pic 3) you can see I added the backrest attachments even though I don't plan to use a backrest. To me, adding these attachments increases the strength of the frame. In (pic 4) it shows the height of the seat in the middle at the maximum height setting (about 19 1/2") In (pic 5) it shows the width of the seat and in (pic 6) it shows the depth of the seat, In (pic 7) it shows the backrest height at the maximum leg height (33 3/4") In (pic 8 and 9) it shows the backrest width and height. In (pic 10) it shows the MAX weight load at (450 lbs) >>> In (pic 11 and 12) it shows the leg construction and locking clip. To me this is the weakest part of the chair when set at the maximum height. I like the design of the idea of the clip because it's less likely the locking pin will get rusty like other chairs I've had. The lower holes that are normally open to water, I just cover them with a piece of duct tape on each leg running up and down over the holes. This should prevent water from getting into the legs. I also like the feet at the bottom of each legs, these are also a better design over other chairs I've had where the pieces were more wider at the base. Over all I rated the shower chair at a 4 star mainly because of the lower legs are smaller than the upper section of the shower chair making them the weakest part of the whole construction. Chair is as described.
Nice chair. Easy to assemble. Not sure, but was charged tax on shipping. Not much money, but seems to be double dipping. Will start paying attention to these things, as I thought shipping was flat quoted rate.

Durable and safe
I ordered this shower chair to use while recovering from ankle surgery after being placed on non weight bearing status. It is straight forward to assemble (the directions could be a bit more clear but there are so few parts that it's a self explanatory process to some extent) and I really like that you can adjust the height. I ordered the version with a chair back only because I assumed at some point my young children would clamber up on to it and I was worried they would fall backwards but after the first use, I realized the chair back is a huge boon to me, especially as a woman with long hair. I can comfortably and safely recline back to rinse my hair without any worry of leaning too far and toppling backwards.

Be Sure Before You Order!
There appear to be, or to have been, three different models of this chair available, but the listings are not that clear. It looks like the original was rated for about 300 pounds, but then they upgraded to a rating of 450 pounds with some sort of "improvement" to the legs. I'm not sure what that improvement was, and not only does it not show in any of the photos, the description gave two different weight limits. I hope that they have fixed that. The one simply listed as "upgraded" does not have any additional framework support to strengthen the legs. Finally, they brought out an "upgrade framework" model that has cross supports to strengthen the legs. It is my opinion that this is an excellent model, especially for taller people who need to have the legs extended. Look for the one that shows those braces. If it costs a couple of bucks more, it's still worth the money--especially if you are tall and/or heavy.

Fits our need perfectly
The bench was easy to put together except for one criss-cross picture not too clear, but we figured it out. The bench is sturdy, adjusts easily and fits out shower stall perfectly. It gives me confidence in the shower to be able to sit when needed or to hold shower items I'm needing near by but can't hang on to while standing. I wish I knew what the little holes on the ends were for - I'm sure there's a purpose I'm missing!
