Perfect replacement
I was wary about purchasing non Dyson manufactured parts but this works great. I still keep my dyson filter Incase my unit needs to be sent to dyson for work. Otherwise this filter works just as good as the original.

I was a bit hesitant to order a generic filter for my Dyson (vs purchasing directly from Dyson). But I gave the generic a try ---- and I am VERY glad I did. It fits perfectly, vacuum runs like a charm.....and it was less than half the cost of the "official" Dyson filter. Add to all this the wonderful Amazon Prime delivery process. All Good!!

Love thar it keeps the and dirt enclosed. The filter is washable so I have and rotate filters so that I can always use a clean one.
