Our drain had been clogged for weeks, I saw a product similar to this one at a much higher price so I immediately went on Amazon to see if they carried a similar product. I had never heard of Northern Tool and Equipment so I was a little hesitant about ordering as I didn't know what to expect. I am so happy I ordered it! First, Northern Tool shipped it quickly. Second, they sent protective eye-wear with the hose, as well as good instructions. Third, they sent a catalog so I could see all the other products they sell. It was super easy to attach the cleaning hose to my pressure washer. It is important to have a helper to monitor how quickly water/disgusting clog chunks come out of your pipe and to let the person holding the pressure washer trigger when to let go, and plenty of buckets or other containers to catch said water/clog chunks. Judging from the amount of stuff that came up and out of our pipe, I would say that clog had been there for years- long before we moved into the house. We emptied over 10 buckets of horrible stuff before the drain was totally clear. This hose basically power washes your pipes. It propels itself down into the pipe and when it hits the clog, you need to kind of rock it so it can get all the way through. We have had plumbers come in and snake the lines before, but the situation was not permanently fixed- after seeing all the stuff that came up I can see why! This cleaning hose was actually half the price of my last plumbing bill. Thank you Norther Tool and thank you Amazon!

This jetter hose is an absolute lifesaver. I never imagined it would work as well and as easy as it did. I would recommend this to anyone that has random issues with drains/toilets backing up. The rear facing jets allow it to feed itself through the lines easily and it is a flexible enough hose that you don't have to worry about it not making turns.I previously had plumbers come out to my home to assess the problem of plumbing lines constantly backing up. Eventually they ran a camera through my lines and found build up in them at certain points that were obviously causing my problems. They told me that they could come in with a special hose to "pressure wash" the inside of my pipes and clean all of the build up out.........but it was going to cost roughly $2000.00. I opted to hold off and do my own research on pipe jetting, found this and couldn't be happier with my decision. Lines have been draining perfectly every since.

awsome tool. i had rented a sewer auger to open my drain. then called roto rooter to come help and when i told them that i had rented a sewer auger and ran it already, he told me that he would do the same thing and that it would be a waste of his time and my money to do the same thing again. i am thankful for his honesty. i ordered this then had to wait a week for it to show up (sewer backing up into the shower every time we would take more than a 3 minute shower for the week) but when it showed up i had the drains running in 2 hrs!!! that includes taking the toilet off of its drain. just when you find a blockage pass the jetter head through that area several times to make sure that the inside walls of the pipe are good and clean.

This hose managed to bust out a clog in my main sewer line which saves me a hefty plumbing bill. While I had it all hooked up already, I cleaned the rest of the pipes in the house as well. It can be a little tricky to navigate smaller pipes. I found that whenever I got to a turn I had to spend a little time jigging it before it would get through the turn and continue on effortlessly.My only other complaint is that it takes a while to work itself though clogs because it lacks a forward jet like some hoses have. This alone is not a reason not to buy it though as the nozzle is replaceable.

I used this tool to clean the corrugated drain pipes that run under my driveway. Our drains get blocked up every time it rains and it makes a couple ponds in the driveway that would slowly drain. I couldn't find the out flows as it was so blocked up I couldn't even find any flow.I used this with a garden hose providing flushing power to shoot the lines clean. It pulls itself along once it gets in the pipe. You have to draw out and let it go every time you find a blockage.One feature I was pleased find was that there is a little red marker that slides on the hose so you can mark your progress. I cleaned over 80 feet of drain in one run! I know where my out low pipes are now too as my flush water just rushes out of them in a torrent.Way cheaper than rotorooter and a new tool that works.

I bought this a few months back after spending a lot of time cleaning lines that tenants clogged up with grease and occasionally other non flushable items. It works like a charm scouring its way along to punch though the lines and scour off the walls. I uses it to work up and down the lines in a few passes to be through. It works so much easier than traditional snakes and stripped massive chunks of grease build up out of the linesI'd advise using a back and forth motion to let it go ahead and pull it back let it go a little further kind of thing.I anticipate trying out a few other nozzles to try out next time

The NorthStar 90 Ft Drain Cleaning Hose is great.I have used it to clean outdoor lawn drains that have been blocked by sand and other debris. The drain cleaning hose was able to loosen and remove the bult up debris in the black convoluted drain lines and get the water flowing again.It took a a couple of hours to do three drain lines each about 70 feet long. From one of the longer ones, I removed more than a wheelbarrow of sand and debris that accumulated over the past six years.By inserting the hose in the low end and running a garden hose in the high end of the drain, I was able to flush the system. The Drain Cleaning hose is easy to use and did a great job. I will attempt to use in on an indoor drain that is partially plugged, and a snake or drain cleaner has not worked.
