So this is the second ultrasonic cleaner like this I've picked up. (The first is still running fine, this will just help when I have more stuff.)Operation is very straightforward, with a few presets of time they have for glasses, rings and such. The 360 second (max) timer tends to "pulse" the bath, while the others do what I'm used to and just run straight through.It's not particularly noisy - it sounds like any other ultrasonic cleaner of this type. It does buzz, of course, but not noticeably.What's really nice about this is the removable tub. My other cleaner, I need to unplug to take to the drain, which is not a huge deal but is mildly annoying. This one separates the tub from the timer - it even gives a small carrying handle if you need it. This is a surprisingly big plus for convenience's sake.My only gripe is that I could use a longer timer like my other one has... but running something twice isn't a big deal. A quick button press and it's off.Definitely getting a place in my toolkit.

The media could not be loaded.  The ultrasonic cleaner started smoking the first time I used it. Then it stopped working completely.

We cleaned our rings the first time. My wife’s got very shiny. Mine a little less so. But it worked fine and with only a small amount of cleaner. I’m a little concerned with the reviews about it stopping working quickly. Since I’ve only used it once, I can’t really judge. It’s nice to have our jewelry shiny but probably not worth the cost, especially with concerns about its quality

Great ultrasonic cleaner. Deep enough for my large frame eye and sunglasses.

This is a revised review because the third time this was used it developed an electrical short and started to emit smoke. The reason is poor design or manufacturing. The tank developed a leak and it shorted the circuit within the tank. What’s more, the instrument did not shut off and started to smoke. This makes it inherently dangerous for any home. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I wouldn't call the SWAREY 800ML Ultrasonic Cleaner a deep cleaning device, and ours did not short out (and smoke!?!) like some others are reporting, but for us the unit is working reasonably well as a weekly wash for things we regularly wear. We have cleaned rings, bracelets, glasses, earrings, necklaces, and a watch, all with decent results.I will say that finishing dirtier items with a jewelry cloth is a must to get the right luster and sparkle. I do wish the timer extended past 360 seconds. We like that the base separates from the basin for easier cleaning. We had to run the unit several times for each batch to see a result. That suggests to me that the ultrasonic capabilities are relatively low.So - if this seems like a good deal for you I would: 1) Watch it like a hawk and keep it on stone counters. 2) Expect to use this for maintenance, not restoration. 3) Take the time to do multiple cycles with a little agitation between each one.

I was excited to see the unit come in got it out of the box, read the directions, used the unit ONE TIME and it did a great job of cleaning some jewelry (pictures attached). The Ultrasonic cleaner stopped working and it smelled like it shorted out, very disappointed. I unplugged the unit and let it sit for a bit hoping that it would reset, but no such luck it will not come back on. As I mentioned already I am disappointed that it only worked one time but did a good job of cleaning my items, I guess this is a one and done,

Works ok for small things, small volume (2.75 cups) . Operating time is short. 300 seconds max. I'd probably go with something larger with a longer operating time.
