Pete the Kitty: I Love Pete the Kitty (Pete the Cat)

This is a perfect "first book" for a toddler. The pictures are cute and colorful, the text is short and will not tax the patience of a young child. Pete is an engaging kitty, as are the others in the book. I recommend it for 1-4 year old children. Older children would probably want more story to go with the pictures, although beginning readers might like the simple text.

We usually buy the regular Pete the Cat books but got this for my little guy who is 2 for Valentine’s Day. Super cute message and easy to read. He doesn’t lose interest at all.

Since seeing all of the grandkids has been via FaceTime, we began reading stories to them. I love reading board books to my youngest granddaughter because they are easy to lay flat, flip pages and very colorful! Not to mention, of course she loves Pete the Kitty!!!!

We bought this book for my 8 month old after his daycare teachers said he liked it. I don’t know why but he seems to really like the colors and illustrations in the book. I will probably buy other books from this series!

Good easy story for toddlers about things they love. Great for a classroom around Valentine’s Day and I may use this for Thanksgiving too.

This is a sweet book with a positive message. Pete loves lots of activities and his friends and family. The pictures are cute and colorful. My baby enjoyed it.

Cute board book. I loved board books when I had wee ones to read to. They lasted a long time. I bought this for my 1st grandchild. Believe s/he will get many years of use.

Cute and easy read for young Pete the Cat fans. My almost 2 year old adores Pete and only has the patience for shorter books so this one is great. The repetitive nature is also good for lulling him to sleep before nap time.

My daughter loves "Pete the Cat" books and this is one of her favorites!

Bought this book to read with my nephew and niece as a Valentine's treat. They loved it! Pete is a VERY popular little kitty with the children and this book was way better than chocolate; they didn't get wound up on sugar and after several readings they drifted off to sleep. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Baby just loves it. Nice colors and beautiful story. And it feels very Californian in a good sense :)
