This salt is awesome!! I fast regularly and just a pinch on the tongue is a burst of flavor When you open the can, the aroma is exquisite.. Not just me but everyone in the family tried it and liked it. It’s good that it comes in a sealable bag. My son opened it not knowing how and some spilled so be careful once you empty the contents into the nice can that holds it. Maybe a twist off would be an improvement, but I’m telling you, you’re going to love this salt. I’m thinking which flavor do I try next?

I bought this product to line the rim of margarita glasses. After checking the ingredients on some other products, I chose this because it contains only natural sea salt and lime (no funky chemicals or strange tasting salt). I use only fresh squeezed lime juice for my margaritas and found that because of that, the lime was not significantly noticeable when drinking the margarita, though tasted by itself, the lime flavor definitely comes through. I am happy with this product overall, and do appreciate the size of the salt crystals as well as the quality (taste) of the salt itself. I would purchase this product again.

My husband and i loved it! We make smokey margaritas and this was the perfect rim for it! We will be reordering! We kive making special drinks and this was the perfect edition. The habanero heat has a great flavor and amazing hit of heat! The smoked bacom smells like you could juay eat it out if the jar! It'll for sure take our bloody marys to the next level.

I recently discovered Caravel Gourmet's products and have been trying all sorts of items (thanks Amazon Prime for the free delivery, too!). I was hosting a cocktail night and decided to buy this in case anyone wanted to drink margaritas that evening. Wow! Great flavor and nice high quality all natural salt...this is better than the salt I get on the margaritas at the authentic taquerias near me! Most of my guests opted for margaritas that night and added that the salt really made it good because it has a nice crunchy bite to it.

started a new bloody Mary at the country club smoky rimmed glasses with some other nibbles, selling lots, the smoky smell sells the Bloody Mary. Will be ordering more soon

We threw a “50th fiesta” for some family turning, well 50 yo. We had a margarita bar and these different salts were perfect to add to the variety. The bacon and habenaro ones were a huge hit in addition to the regular margarita salt. I also really liked the pink Himalayan too. I highly recommend these and there is quite a bit that can last you a long time.

I've tried several chill-lime, jalapeno, and other margarita salts in my search for the right combination of spice and flavor to complement my margarita. This one has a good amount of spice but not much flavor otherwise. I ended up mixing it with a good amount of Tajin and got something that was more to my liking. It's worth a try if you're looking for a kick but I'd have something to mix it with to add some real flavor.

Bought 3 different Caravel tins of salt as a gift for my husband, so I have not yet tasted or seen the product inside. 👀Although the tins were well protected, each tin was dented, which means the denting did not happen in transit.👀I'm hoping that the quality/taste is good. It is a bit embarrassing to give gifts that are pre-dented.

The only thing I could think of that would have been an improvement on the product is that considering the tin is the size for rimming the glasses is that the bottom of the tin to be shaped to push all the salt to the edge, or to have an insert in there to do the same. Granted it would probably push the price up by $5 but I think it might be worth it.

I hate smoked bacon so I can't tell you first-hand what it's like. My husband loves smoked bacon and he says it's "alright".

I was so disappointed in this product.. it smelled and tasted like chemicals I ended up never using it

Excellent item. Salt did not immediately dissolve into drink but stayed on rim of glass to give saltiness to each sip of the Margarita.

Bought this for the wife and she really liked it. Much better than a different brand that we purchased on here.
