My wife drivers a 2017 MINI Cooper Countryman which she absolutely loves, but wishes it came with support for Android Auto or Apple Carplay. She doesn't like the new Countryman designs, and an aftermarket A/V replacement would compromise other functions of her vehicle that she has grown accustomed to. I thought we were out of solutions until I came across this product.For those who want a short review - it works perfectly for our case, and I would absolutely recommend it.Going into further detail now. This product comes with many cables and peripherals as seen in my second screenshot - two different mounting brackets, a rear camera with optional reverse power connector, cigarette adapter for power and wired Android Auto, a 3.5mm auxiliary cable for high-quality car audio, and of course, a large touchscreen display with embedded front camera and 64GB microSD card pre-installed. One of the mounting brackets can suction to your car windshield or perhaps an untextured dash. The other mounting bracket seems to screw into your dash as a permanent solution, which I imagine some older car owners wouldn't flinch at. The first mount has a huge suction cup, so I'd trust it as long as you properly clean the windshield first.I tested this product in my own 2018 Honda Clarity as my wife's car is not immediately available for installation. I was able to connect with wireless Android Auto to my OnePlus 12 with zero issues, and performance was as good as the native solution built into my own car. I also found dual camera recording to work smoothly as expected. Don't mind the blurry lights in my photo as I did not remove the protective lens films while testing. Do note that the rear camera is optional, and the reverse power line for the rear camera is also optional (useful if your older car lacks a back-up camera when reversing).Finally, I tried the FM Emission functionality. While I plan to use the 3.5mm auxiliary cable for high quality audio in my wife's MINI Cooper Countryman, I can attest that the FM Emission is extremely fast and easy to set up, and works as well as you would expect it to.Overall, I highly recommend this product for those with older cars or even a "newer" car lacking Android Auto and Apple Carplay looking to add some modern connectivity for music and GPS navigation.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using my iPhone for years with Google Maps and Waze, but this Herero screen and dashcam is a game changer with Carplay. Syncing to Bluetooth was easy and literally took only seconds. Carplay functions flawlessly, giving me a much bigger screen to view map directions. The speaker is loud enough to hear clearly, but I can also play the audio over my Volvo XC60 sound system. Phone calls sound great, especially on the other end through the built-in mic. My biggest dilemma was choosing where and how to mount the screen. I finally decided to use the extension arm with a 3M adhesive circle rather than the suction cup that did not stick to my dash. The dashcam does not require instructions as it starts recording on the supplied MiniSD card as soon as the ignition starts. I won't be using the rear camera because my car already has a backup camera. The power cord hides easily behind the Volvo console and plugs into my 12v power outlet near the cupholder. That is almost perfect, but I may still wire it directly to the fuse box later. Overall, I am very happy and wish I had bought this Carplay screen and dashcam sooner.

At first it was great worked well did everything I needed it to do but after about 2 weeks it stopped working. Once in a while it decides to turn on but 95% of the time the screen stays black and cannot use it. Waste of money honestly.

Loved this and have been using it since March but unfortunately the adapter on both ends of the cord provided, broke. The usbc end of the adaptor broke off in the screen output and the car adapter side just fell apart and wont go back together???

Overall this is a good product. It functions properly about 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time it will glitch and reset or not connect properly. In my opinion, for the price, it is acceptable. It is very easy to use and I love the screen size. Customer support was also very good. Although slow to respond, they did fix the issue I had with the product.

Really cool product for those of us without the very latest cars with the biggest screens in them. I love that it integrates both the front and the rear cameras and has a nice array of mounting options.Super easy to set up/connect to my phone and I was up and running in under 5 minutes.My 2013 mini actually doesn't have a connected stereo anymore (never had bluetooth) so i disabled it and added a bluetooth car stereo system that this is linked up to and makes it so easy and safe to listen and adjust volumes and equalizer while in the car.Really quick to respond to touch as a touch screen these days should be and the maps/nav function works super well, dark and light when gong from night to day automatically.I'm recommending this for anyone who doesn't have a big screen in their car and who has the space for it. it is quite large but that makes it easy to use efficiently.Also, the display is very bright and easy to see even in full sun I had no trouble navigating.Will report back once I fully install the cable for back-up cam and find my final mounting location.

Edit: had to update my previous positive review as now this thing almost never stays on anymore. Not sure if the summer heat has gotten to it or what,but it's become unusable.This is great for older cars that aren't as technologically advanced LOLI have a 2002 Honda CR-V and we installed this in it and love it! Great for navigating and listening to music from your phone. The display is plenty bright and the camera quality is great.Would HIGHLY recommend one for those with older vehicles.
