I got this kit to work on my 2015 Macbook Air. It allows me to remove back off in minutes, as well as work on the inner components and pop off keys if need be. Works very well, the screwdrivers are durable, they don't strip the screws. But you should be aware that this package does not contain the tri-wing screwdriver needed to remove the battery from MacBook Pros. If you plan to do anything involving the battery/trackpad, you'll need the tri-wing. Other packages have all the screwdrivers this one does as well as the tri-wing. But if you're sure you only need the three screwdrivers in this package, it's a good buy.

Perfect for my my small craft projects.

I purchased these tools to replace the hard drive in my mid-2013 MacBook Pro. These fit perfectly in the screws and I had no problem whatsoever. I did read other reviewer‘s who say these stripped out and damaged their screws. The only way I could imagine someone damaging the screws in their computer with these tools is by either not holding them straight up and down or twisting them too hard. The screws use some sort of Loctite substance to keep them from loosening. I applied study even pressure and had no issues.

Needed this kit to take apart the back of my MacBook Pro to properly clean the fans since I hadn’t attempted to clean it in the 3 years I’ve had it. The screwdrivers were kind of dingy and the bases were loose and the tips easily stripped which kind of sucked but they got the job done. And the black bar could’ve been made out of a bit of a tougher plastic, it got really carved up and didn’t pry up sections of the cover very well. 3/5 and I feel like that’s me being generous, but these tools still got the job done

I bought these because I needed the particular screwdriver that could open a 2016 MacBook Pro. The metal that the tip of each screwdriver is made out of is really soft. I anticipate these to last only maybe a few more uses before the teeth become worn enough to not fit in the star shaped bolt heads on the computer. However they work exactly as they are supposed to so therefore I am still giving 5 stars. Remember with a cheap price comes cheap material, and these aren’t designed to have infinite life.

Nicely made and reasonably priced. The 4 rubber O-Rings provide a nice tactile finger grip and the aluminum body provides a nice degree of feel that plastic can't manage. The business end appears to be a durable, high quality tool steel and is bronze-colored. Worked great on the 2013 MacBook Pro I needed to get into. Additionally, there are a glass-reinforced nylon pry tool and a branded square of microfiber cloth. I haven't needed to use the pry tool so I cannot comment on the quality but another microfiber cloth is never a bad thing if you happen to own lots of touch-screen devices..

I've been having problems with my 2015 MacBook Air with it just shutting off on it's own. Since it is out of warranty, I purchased this toolkit and was able to get my battery out and unplugged and everything works well now. Definitely worth the $10 because I've already had to undue the battery three times already, so it has paid for itself in just a few uses. Arrived quickly and as described. Would definitely recommend or purchase again if necessary.
