They catch fish
These little jigs cast well on light spinning tackle. They look great in the water and jig well in fairly shallow water. I have landed some small snapper around bridge pilings in the bay. They are also a very appealing bait for mackerel. They have a good finish. The hooks are good quality and should hold up in salt water. The tail hook is adorned with some bucktail. They are a good quality, reasonably priced lures.Damon M. Tatem

Great looking spoons
This set of spoon jigs look great! The paint/wrap looks amazing. The 3d eyes are a nice touch. I haven't been able to hook up yet, but these cast a mile! with a 10 ft surf rod I can get these out about 75 yards or so. Perfect for me. I can cast out farther than most anglers and get to the fish they can't reach.

Anticipating a lot of fish with these
These are really nice jigs. They are solid and I love the different weights included. They look really nice and I believe they will be very noticeable to the fish. I have to confess however that I won't have the best opportunity to test them until the lakes thaw but the lighter ones do work very well ice fishing.

The good, the bad, and the maybe...
One of my great pleasures in life is standing in the surf in Baja, Mexico, casting small lures on bass fishing gear, and catching gobs of fish. For years I have used Yo-Zuri Crystal Vibes, small Hopkins, small Kastmasters, and so on. You get the idea. When I saw these new Zsrivk jigs/spoons I had to order them for my next Baja trip. They arrived today and I made the following positive observations (i.e. “The Good”). They have a nice, multi-layer finish creating a nice scale pattern and lifelike colors in three out of the six lures. Although the red head and two rainbow-ish color patterns will still likely catch fish in Baja, I'm going to be inclined to fish the more natural looking blue, silver, and green patterns. The eyes are nice 3D items slightly recessed so they won't get scraped off by the first toothy Baja fish! Both the single assist hook and the treble are properly beefy for salt water use and won't bend open on a big fish pulling against hard drag. I also like that both the treble and the assist hooks are dressed with crystal flash and a white feather. Perhaps a bit of bling overkill, but it surely couldn't hurt, right? The shape and weight-to-length ratio is going to lead to super long casts and more coverage of the fishing area. Nice. The internal body appears to be lead (it bends if pressured) and you can probably put a SLIGHT bend in the body if you want a bit of different action. Use caution, however, since significant bending will likely crack and compromise the finish. The shape and appearance of the lure closely matches the small sardina baitfish where I fish in Baja. Awesome! So, a few negative observations (i.e. “The Bad”). The assist hook is mounted to a split ring which is also mounted directly to the eye of the lure. The eye and the assist hook split ring should each be mounted to a second split ring for maximum action. I included a photo showing the Zsrivk and a larger jig with the proper ring arrangement. A simple fix but I have to provide the additional split ring and make the modification myself. My other complaint is in regard to the (red) thread wraps holding the crystal flash and/or feathers to the hooks. The toothy fish in Baja will pick those threads apart after a few fish and I will be left with a mess to cut off. At the very least, the assist hook should have a small piece of shrink wrap over the thread wraps (see photo for example). I plan to use super glue to set all the thread wraps and extend the durability of feathers/crystal flash. Another fix that will be on me. So, will it catch fish as good as, or better than, my current lures? The answer to that is, “The Maybe”. Based upon what I've seen so far, I think these lures will fare quite well. I've never fished a jig or spoon off the beach with an assist hook. I'm very curious to see how many landed fish have the assist hook embedded. I guess I'll have to update this review after August. For now, I'm inclined to give these a solid four stars with potential for five.

Just as pictured and described
These seem like they'll work well for walleye. I'm not a fan of the assist hooks but they're easy enough to remove. Great colors, and in a couple of weights. I've only tried them once so far but it's still pretty early. Hopefully by next week I'll be able to snag a few.
