Love that it's adjustable!
We needed something to sit stuff on in the recliners in our RV. There are small side tables on either side of the couch, but the recliners are nestled between the wall and the dinette so there's no room for a table. This tray works so well because the sides are hinged and can be adjusted to fit one arm of the recliners or the 2 arms together between them. It's also easy to clean and fold up to put away.

I like it
I was a skeptic when I ordered but I do like it. I picked it up because we have wide arm rests on our couch and its not the greatest to have a table next to it.. The "legs" can adjust to different size armrests. Its sturdy and has a place for your phone. easy to clean. simple to put together in less then five minutes. we use it almost every day. Great price and ships out fast. I do plan on getting more

Fits oversized recliner arm
Great quality. Built to last. It’s bamboo!! The only assembly required was attaching the phone holder for which a small screwdriver was included. The phone stand is a good option if you don’t have a thick phone case. If your case is thick, choose one of the other options because it won’t fit.The folding legs on the bottom are connected with a tight self closing hinge so they hug the arm of the recliner well to keep it in place (our sofa is a futon with wooden arms so can’t use it there.)My husband mainly uses this Batteo Couch Arm Tray when he’s writing out his invoices at the end of the week as it’s a perfect hard surface to bear down on. It would need to be bigger to have a dinner plate on but works well for smaller dishes like a bowl of fruit or popcorn. I wouldn’t trust a liquid on it because it’s on a recliner.I think it would be great for kids snacks and would turn the sofa into a convenient work area for homework. If you know a binge watcher who likes to snack, this would make a great gift at a great price.

so close to perfect
I've been shopping for these for some time. I have an end table, but my living room is a bit small, so I wanted to get rid of extra furniture. really, all you need is a solid place to put down a cup of coffee and/or a remote. done and done.this little "table" feels solid on the arm. and it's as easy as opening the arms and letting the springs keep it there. I deducted one star because there's no way to adjust how it fits. the armrest on my couch is thinner than the table. because it's spring-loaded, each little table arm pulls evenly. and the table ends up centered on the armrest. not a huge deal, but it means that the table sticks out over the seat a bit. ...which in turn means that the arm is sticking into your leg.if I could figure out a way to offset the table so it was flush with the armrest on the inside and the excess was on the outside, this would be 5 stars. while it remains centered and a bit in the way, it's still 4.

You need this
I never knew I needed a couch arm tray until I got one. My mom kept losing her ipad, phone, and remote while watching TV and doing laundry, so I bought her one. Then decided to try one out for myself. Now, I can't imagine my life without it!The Batteo Couch Arm Tray is a simple but brilliant invention. It's a bamboo tray that attaches to the armrest of your couch, giving you a convenient place to put your drinks, snacks, remote control, phone, and anything you don't want getting tucked into the couch cushions. The tray is adjustable, so it can fit on a variety of armrests. It's also foldable, so you can easily store it away when you're not using it. I don't love clutter, so I store mine under my couch with the remote on it.But the best part of the Batteo Couch Arm Tray is the 360° rotating phone holder. This allows you to prop up your phone at any angle, so you can watch videos, read books, or play games while you're relaxing on the couch.Pros:Convenient place to put drinks, snacks, remote control, phone, and moreAdjustable to fit a variety of armrestsFoldable for easy storage360° rotating phone holderPerfect for eating, watching TV, working from home, and moreCons:I only got one and everyone wants it.

Well designed couch tray
I thought this would be used occasionally on our couch but it is so handy that it has not left the arm of our couch since assembling. My wife uses this daily since it fits the arm of our couch perfectly and is the perfect place for her cell phone and TV remote. Assembly took all of maybe five minutes since it comes 95% assembled already.

Great Product!
I was so impressed with this product. There is a very small bit of assembly required. You have to attach the phone holder onto the tray. It comes with 2 screws but only one is used and it also comes with the phillips head screw driver. No need to go hunting for your tools. I love that it was enclosed with the tray! The hole was drilled precisely so that the screw would only go in so far so that the phone holder could swivel freely around 360 degrees. Do not try to tighten the screw so that it cannot swivel! I placed my tray on the arm of my recliner and I was very impressed how well it holds on. The side pieces that grip the arm are attached to the tray with strong springs so be sure to hold the tray and the side piece securely when placing or removing the tray or it will snap hard and loudly to the bottom of the tray if you pull it down and just let go. This is made with quality in mind and it shows. The wood is about 1/2 inch thick and the tray has a lip around the edges so I can put my tv remotes on the tray and they don't fall off.
