I mean saying it's great for grabbing is fairly obvious but it's insanely good for grabbing loose leaf tea or quick pickles out of a container and having a set designated use for each affixed to the lid and not worrying about cross contaminating whatever it is you're using it for. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to sanitation and while I usually don't voice my concerns with those around me, internally I sort of freak out when my family is getting dinner and someone goes to dig into pickles with a fork covered in not-pickle-food. This alleviates that concern.The build on these is nice, they feel really sturdy, lightweight, do clean up easily, and seem like they'll last the lifetime of the pop containers. The lack of teeth on the end is nice in this context so they don't spear food like metal tongs with those. Now to convince the guys to migrate dishwashing pods to another container so they don't get stuck together by wet-hands. Overall really novel and sanitary option.

I do have an OXO pop container, but I just use these as mini tongs in the kitchen. We love tacos and eat them often, and these are perfect for serving toppings. We've also used them for appetizers, and they're nice because my kids love using them, and these keep the kids' hands out of our food.

What I like is that they are plastic. Easy to put in the dishwasher without tarnishing, like metal tongs might. They are sturdy, meaning they don't feel like they'll snap if you squeeze them too hard. The downside is that they are mini, meaning if the OXO container is almost empty, you're sticking your hand in it to grab the item(s) with the short/mini tong. Also, if you snap the tongs onto the underside of the OXO lid, it's going to take up storage room inside the container. After I got them, I thought is anyone in this family besides me going to use these tongs? And they don't fit on the lids of the smaller POP containers. However, I definitely see me using them for parties when you put out dishes with small items that you don't want people pawing over. Very useful for that purpose and the simple design and color are unobtrusive. So I took it down to 4-stars because I'm not happy with the storage space they take up, and then when you're done using the tongs are you going to wash them off before you put them back into the container? I can't see putting dog biscuits in the container (their example) and then telling my husband you need to use the tongs to grab a dog biscuit. I just cracked myself up thinking about what his reaction would be. It reminded me of a time many decades ago when I was a teen and I guy who asked me to homecoming invited me to come over and play board games with his family and younger brothers. His mom put an ice bucket on the table with tongs, and a little brother said, "Mom, we never use tongs. Why are we using tongs?" He was maybe 7 years old and wouldn't let it go. It was obvious that they only used tongs because I was "company." Awkward and funny. So, your call whether they are company tongs or everyday tongs. There's nothing wrong with these, I'm a BIG fan of OXO products and have dozens of them. These mini tongs haven't convinced me that I really need them.

Never wonder where tongs are for your pop containers. Fit easily onto the lids, functional tongs.

These OXO mini tongs are of good quality and easy to use and pinch. They are great for pantry storage containers and to serve food/appetizers. I would not hesitate to buy again.

I bought these thinking we had POP containers but my wife informed we did not. Oh well, these are still very handy, very well made little tongs. We use them for hot pot nights, and they work great for grabbing slices of meat and little dumplings and other things we want to throw in the broth.They are sturdy, easy to clean, and have a good grip. There is nothing bad to say about these. With or without the POP container, these are very useful little items.

I got these mini-tongs to use with condiments and charcuterie boards. I have them on the table for taco night with the cheese, lettuce, onions, etc. Also, when I have Hors d'oeuvres or a charcuterie board at a dinner party. These worked well, but they can be a little hard to squeeze together. (The young kids weren't able to use them.) The spoon is a nice size, so you can get the amount of condiments you need. It would be more effective if the plastic wasn't so rigid and they would squeeze together easier. But, these clean up easily and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. At $3.28/each, I feel they are a good value and would still recommend these.
