There is determination, passion and (little) drama in this amazing journey of selling gold from a small shop in Abu Dhabi to becoming the Worlds Favourite Jeweller with more than 150 shops!

The part about him getting a Rolls Royce, despite a judgmental salesman, was epic! Spreading Joy : An autobiography of Joy Alukkas the Founder & Chairman of Joyalukkas Jewellery"Spreading Joy" is all about a man with a grit to aim and achieve something big in life and how a small town boy from Thrissur in Kerala dreamed of conquering his jewellery empire with passion, persistence and deligence till becoming, "World's Favourite Jeweller" a decades later. His inspiring journey describes his initial days about how he started assisting his father around the age of 16 where work became his play as well as working ground. He grew up listening to his father's business teachings, one of many things he learned from his father is, "Finance is the lifeline of any business, so a core understanding of finance is mandatory if one wants to become a great businessman." After years of struggles and hardwork  in building the brand, the Alukkas store acquired a good reputation and flourished, keeping pace with the rapid growth of the jewellery retail sector.
