Exactly the color it looks like. I made red white and blue cherries and these were just the right amount of extra sugar.

I don't understand the handful of negative reviews. I purchased both Blue and Red sugar and they came sealed under the cap - a hard to pull off seal. So I don't know how people received opened bottles. Also they had no real smell and they tasted great; just as they should - like granulated sugar. These will be a great alternative for decorating cupcakes for the 4th.

They don't have a sprinkle lid. They don't have additives.
I like the idea of pure ingredients. Sparkly always good! I wish it had a lid with holes in it. I poured some in the lid and then pinch to sprinkle. But, not the most efficient way.
