JessEm1/4" Stainless Dowelling Jig

This tool has amazing precision in both build quality and use. Much better than expected.

Very well machined and very accurate!! Product was great, don’t understand why it didn’t come with a bit and stop collar like every other set does.

I ordered both the 1/4 and 3/8-inch models. They both appear to be very well made. I have purchased other Jessem products and have always received an instruction manual with them. There were no instruction manuals with either unit.They are mostly self explanatory for their use. But there are some things that are not as clear. For example, there are measurements across the top of the unit but no indication as to what these measurements are for.This product would have received a 5 star rating if a manual of some sort had been included.

I tried this jig for a project that involves lots of small pieces. Accuracy is poor. It's design allows it to be placed anywhere on the piece which is a large advantage over my self centering dowelling jig. I only use it for drilling holes on one side and the matching piece is marked with dowel center pins and holes are made on a drill press. If accuracy was better this would be a fantastic tool.
