I upgraded from a 60W bulb to this. I'd say it's brighter than a 100W bulb and too bright for small rooms. I still find 4000K a bit stark for evening and night use, so it turns out that I don't use this light very much.Fitting was OK but fiddly. A bracket attaches to the ceiling easily enough but the light then attaches to the bracket with two small Allen bolts (an elongated key is supplied) that are obscured by the outer edge of the light. With the light flush to the ceiling I found it really awkward to get both bolts to catch on the bracket. Each time I thought I had it, the light would just fall off. Grrr! After a few goes it caught on both sides. The design could be improved by making it so that you hook one end into the bracket and do a bolt on the other. This would make it much less fiddly.

Bought to replace two ageing fluorescent light fittings.Easy to fit and the 18 watt led produces far more light instantlyA little cheap looking but on the ceiling in utility area, does it matterWould recommend

Well made and very efficient, clear bright white light, ideal for bathroom.
