Anvenor 28cm Tower Decorated Stick Holder - Natural Colour

The Anvenor incense tower looks great and we use it every night. However, the first time we tried it, the incense went out after a minute or two.When we lifted the top, we saw that that happened because the stick's too 'thin' to stand up straight by itself in the hole so when it leans, it touches the tower's inner wall, which puts it out. Now we use two sticks at a time, multiple times a night, and all's well.Also, if your incense sticks are too long for this lovely tower, it's NBD: just snip or break a bit off the stick end. HTH!

This tower looks beautiful! It was delivered promptly, undamaged and I was very pleased with how it looked.Then I tried to burn an incense stick but it went out nearly immediately after I put the tower on! Surely that's not suppose to happen! I have a 'normal' wooden holder and the stick sits there at 45 degrees angle and just burns down no problem. This may be the issue with the tower - the stick is positioned nearly vertical, there is no draft and it cannot work against laws of physics?It looks nice as a decorative ornament. My friend came to visit and she really liked the tower so I gave it to her.I will not recommend it. Wooden holder for a £1 works perfectly thou.

Aesthetically pleasing but ridiculously fragile. I've just returned the replacement I requested for the first broken one I received, which also arrived broken. Its a shame but even if a further replacement did arrive in one piece I don't think it would survive five minutes in our house!

At first when I tried to use this, every time I would light the incense, put it in the base put the tower over it and within 10 seconds the incense stick was out. That is because they made the hole that the stick goes into a little too wide, so I used the stick of a second incense to fill the hole and now it works fine. The only other issue is that some of my incense sticks are too tall for the holder, so make sure when you order this you are fully aware of the hight of the holder.

I like burning my authentic incense in an authentic burner and it matches my two soapstone elephants brought back from Goa.

It's beautiful and works well. I can use cones and sticks in it which is great. I wanted a non-wooden incense holder as the shelf I keep it on is over a heater and the heat warps the wooden ones, so this is ideal. The ones I got were shipped from Germany and the first one arrived broken despite good packaging. The seller was great and sent out a new one speedily which arrived intact.

Broke after a week colour was dull and i just didnt ever like it looked out of place
