I ordered 2 similar styled pillows to determine which I liked best. I was going to send this back, but my husband has confiscated this for himself. He says it is extremely comfortable for "back sleeping"

I haven't had good experiences with memory foam bedding products in the past, so I was skeptical about the claims of comfort and especially being "cool," but as a stomach-sleeper with few dedicated pillow options, I was curious enough to give this a chance, and I'm glad I did.I'm used to waking up at least slightly sweaty when I use a memory foam pillow (whether crushed or solid foam), so I was very surprised to start waking up dry with this new pillow. Not sure whether it's the cover, or the pillow, or both, but whatever they did with this, it works for me.I've also had unpleasant experiences with memory foam pillows that were just too hard for comfort, and this is certainly not plush, but it's not a rock either - I'm able to rest my head just about the same way I would with a firm-ish 'standard' pillow.Lastly, the shape of this pillow does seem to help me avoid feeling like I'm smothering my face in the pillow, with enough gentle curves that I can find a comfortable position pretty quickly.Overall, very happy so far with this unusual pillow!

I love this pillow. It is very comfortable. I have arthritis in my neck and this pillow does not aggravate it. It gives you great neck support and is comfortable for your head as well.I find I have to flip it upside down for it to be comfortable when I sleep on my side.It fits a standard pillowcase.

I have used this pillow for a week and I finally figured out the problem. You have to lay on it absolutely perfectly for it to be comfortable for side sleepers and if you shift you will wake up with shoulder pain. Of the 6 nights I have slept on it I woke up with shoulder pain on 4 mornings. I will say that the pain did not persist throughout the day but I feel like if I keep using it, eventually the pain won't go away.It does stay cooler for longer than I would have expected and the memory foam holds it shape. I gave it 3 stars for that and because, I have a feeling, that back sleepers will not have the shoulder issue and would be able to sleep quite comfortably on this pillow.

I got this pillow because I use a CPAP and side/back sleeping is easier on my mask. It took me a night or two to get used to it, but I can confidently say it has improved my sleep. I'm probably using it upside down, but that is what is comfortable to me. The divots in the sides are great if you're sleeping on your back and you like to stretch your arms up, over your head while you sleep. And the pillow, the way I use it, acts to offer some cushion for my wife's head when she rests her head on my shoulder. Overall - I'd recommend this pillow to anyone looking for a good side/back sleeping pillow.
