These are really lovely.While the cheap plastic stitch markers that come with most crochet kits are adequate, they are sometimes inflexible and hard to snap shut. This open wide for easy insertion and stability. On top of that they are just darned pretty. If you spend as much time with this hobby as I do, there is no reason why your tools shouldn't be as attractive as they are functional. When I have a particularly complex project that requires a lot of marking, I love looking at all the "jewels" hanging from my work. They have also drawn a lot of comments from fellow crafters.

I've been using the plastic 'safety pin' type of stitch markers for a long time and finally splurged to buy myself something nice. They're so much easier to use that the plastic ones, just be a little careful because the part that closes over has a bit of a bend in the very tip, and I've already snagged my yarn a couple of times. Now that I'm aware of it, I just know to be more careful, but they're so pretty and I'm glad I got them!

These are PERFECT for crocheting! They are handmade and delicate but strong and BONUS...you can wear them as earrings so you always know where they are! I was so happy with this purchase that I ordered 3 other sets!!

These are much easier to use then the plastic safety pin looking ones, and the beads are very pretty. They don't snag my yarn when I remove them, either. They would make a lovely gift for a knitter or crocheter!
