Excellent value, super bright
First COB-style LED strip that I've used. Love it! Clearly genuine 3M adhesive tape because this had some of the best adhesion that I've come across. Though I did clean the paintwork with 99% Isopropanol Alcohol first which is always a good idea.Colour range from almost orange to very white, certainly a useful range. Almost too bright to use on full brightness in a bedroom but they have a really good range of dimming. Nothing like older LED strips I've used before.Would certainly recommend these.

Very solderable if you want to split them up. They keep their settings when powering up every time!
This is a strip of COB (chip on board) LEDs with inline controller and mains power supply. The effect is that the LEDs are packed very tight on the strip, making an almost continuous run of light. I decided to try and be adventurous and cut it into three separate pieces and link them with some wire which I soldered in.Use I wanted to light up three shelves on a home made bookcase and run it at a very low light level. These particular lights suit my purpose very well because the controller "remembers" the setting each time and boots straight into the low setting every time I power it on using a mains switch, so I hardly ever need to use the remote control unless I want to change the setting.I found that there were quite small, but adequate soldering lands on the strip regularly spaced throughout the (3m) strip that I had.I managed to solder in three connecting wires for each strip without too many problems and it all worked first time I tried it. I have had big problems joining strips with wire in the past, so I was very pleased that these worked OK first time! The manufacturers claim that it is "joinable," so it was nice to know that this works in practice.ConclusionYes, these do all they claim and I have been using them for the last three weeks or so, and they have behaved perfectly well. I managed to get them at just the low setting and colour that I wanted and they come up with this setting every time they are powered on with no drama.Only slight problem is they tend to drift in and out of synch with my webcam when I have them on in the background, leading to a slight "strobing" effect which comes and goes. I also noticed this when I was trying to take a still picture of them with my phone. To the naked eye they are rock steady though.

LOVE the light pattern!
The light pattern on this is so much more premium looking than the typical 'cheap LED Strips' that you get - i.e. they have a distinct LED Square/block for each bulb whereas this one has a much more 'diffused' look which sits neatly into anywhere you want to put it.The light strip is lightweight and the Remote that comes with it is pretty handy and you can adjust the colours in a myriad of ways [changing from cool to warm] - there's also even a strobe function [not sure why you'd want to use it but it's there].The timer/sunrise/sunset presets on the remote is also very nice.

Decent quality COB strip
The light strip arrived boxed along with a small remote control and a 24V 1.5A switch-mode power supply. The 10mm strip itself is handily wound around a small drum and has a 3M adhesive pad already attached. In use, it is simply a matter of plugging in the strip to the power supply using the little adapter and turning it on.The remote control is very generic but contains options to control colour temperature (2700-6500K), brightness, and a 60s delay timer. There is also a pulse button, but I found this to cause too much flicker. The lights are extremely bright, especially in the cooler temperature settings. The chip-on-board (COB) strips tend to offer a solid strip of light that requires no external diffuser to avoid seeing the individual LED dots, and this is certainly the case here. However, should you dim the strip, they are visible so you may need to install them in a channel if this bothers you. There is a quoted 608 leds/m and you can cut the strip at 25mm intervals. The only issue I have had is that sometimes the strip does not illuminate when switched on. This is cured by a power cycle, but I am uncertain whether this will be a concern for longevity, hence the 4-star rating. If so, I am sure you can use a different controller (such as WLED) as the strip wiring is the common standard.

Subtle ambiance enhancement
After installing these LED strips in various rooms, I've noticed a marked improvement in the atmosphere of each space. With the ability to adjust the warmth of the light, the ambiance can shift from a cozy, gentle glow to a bright, energizing white. The flexibility in lighting temperature is particularly useful when transitioning from work to relaxation at home. The remote control simplifies altering the mood without fuss. I value the eye-comforting uniformity of the light; it's smooth without harsh points of intensity, which is a subtle yet impactful aspect of room design. These strips bend to the contours of my furniture and architecture seamlessly, enhancing rather than distracting from the aesthetics. I’ve used them behind the TV for a cinema-like experience and under the kitchen cabinets for a soft illumination that’s perfect for midnight snacks without waking the entire household.
