Great little gadget
My second purchase and again just what I wanted. Ready to use, no set up required, clear display, automatically shows temperature to humidity levels showing each for 5 seconds. Great little product

Pretty good.
This is an reasonably good, fairly basic, Thermostat / Hygrometer. It seems to be quite well-made, and is a reasonable size. The device is free-standing, but does have magnetised back, so can be attached to, say, a fridge door etc.The device works well, with alternating temperature and humidity display, along with maximum and minimum readings, with a face pictogram showing whether in ideal range etc. Compared with a known to be accurate device, this was found to be accurate. The display is good and clear, but unlike some, doesn’t have touch illumination (which would illuminate the face for a second or two, which is a shame. The device is lithium ‘button’ type, battery powered (included). On the packaging, it states that either Centigrade or Fahrenheit temperature unit can be selected. It can’t, it is fixed Centigrade. This suits me fine, since I think in terms of Centigrade anyway, and anyone under a certain age wouldn’t probably know about Fahrenheit anyway!Although a fairly basic device, with no time / date / calendar, or backlight functionality, is does have minimum / maximum historical readings, and optimum range (comfort face) pictogram. Ideal for placing in any room in the house.Overall, a decent, well-made and good quality little gadget. Not bad value.I hope that you have found this helpful.

Simple and helpful
We put this in the kids room to check easily that they're in a comfy environment. Simple and helpful tool, especially when summer is here

Works, gives temp to 1 degree. Difficult to change scale.
A neat package, but hard to change the scale, which returns to C when power is lost. Instruction slip talks about "reset button": There isn't one. The positive battery terminal is held in by the back and two holes drilled n the pcb, not soldered. Easy to loose if you disassemble, and not a great way to make a connection to the pcb. I'm reasonably happy with the two I bought, though the total price including shipping was a little steep. Also I see the ticket price has increased.

Temperature range questionable.
I primarily bought this thermometer to get an idea of how warm it gets in my cold frame, the reason I chose this one was because it states that it will operate upto 70 degrees C.The instructions which come with the thermometer say it operates upto 50 degrees C.

Small desktop hygrometer complete with smiley or frowny face; quite fun
This seems like the very definition of cheap and cheerful: there is even a smiley face on the display, at least if it thinks you are in ideal conditions. The gadget measures temperature and humidity and is designed to sit on a desk or shelf. It comes with a battery of AG13 type and is turned on by inserting the battery. Ideal conditions are defined as between 18 and 26 degrees Centigrade, and humidity between 40% and 65% RH (relative humidity). The unit also displays the min and max of both temperature and humidity; it is not clear how often this resets. The temperature scale can be Centigrade or Fahrenheit but there is no instruction about how to change it. There is a small clue, which is a marking over one of the vents in the back of the unit. If you poke a suitable implement into this vent there is in fact a switch you can depress to switch the units. I only know this because I took the back off to have a look.I am not sure how accurate the device is but can say that it does not change quickly when the temperature changes. I took it from the living room into an unheated conservatory and it took several minutes to display the lower temperature. You cannot calibrate it at all, nor change its definition of comfort. As I said, cheap and cheerful.
