It's Great Book

This book was very superficial. It glossed over in-depth topics with examples but little explanation. Calculations had 2 chapters, but they were very short. One example was provided which barely scraped the tip of the iceberg for the function it used, let alone all the rest of the possibilities. The organization also left something to be desired. Visualizations, usually the second chapter after connecting to a data source, was way back in Ch. 11. Finally, the grammar was sloppy--lots of little words like "a/an/the" were left out. If you want a high level introduction to Tableau, get Tableau for Dummies.

The best current book about Tableau. It covers well most of the novelties of the latest version. If bough together with Tableau for HealthCare you will have a perfect combination of depth, extension and coverage of the new version

Bought this book because it was cheap and newest publication date. The other reviews are probably friends of the author. My first impression is good. Once I get more into the book I'll write and update.
