This chimney wrap is a sort of woven strapping, there are two pipe clamps with it.You can wrap it around a stove pipe and similar diameters or around a vehicle exhaust.We actually want it for wrapping a diesel heater pipe for using in a non vehicle scenario and it looks as though it will be able to do that.The largest diameter the supplied clips will hold closed is 3 1/2" or 9cm and the smallest is 2 1/4" or 6cmI think this would work to help protect tents when you have a camping stove with a chimney but you would still need a proper chimney flap section in the tent fabric as you can still feel heat through the material just not as startling of a temperature..

This is ideal for wrapping the down pipe on my motorcycle to stop the heat from the exhaust burning the plastic nearest to it, definitely recommend this 👍👍😁😁
