No LED = perfect for me.
I needed a charger to use in my car when my phone is serving as a dash-cam (running Autoguard). My old charger was only putting out 1 amp and it also had an LED which was lit when nothing was connected, so I could not risk leaving it plugged in lest it drained the car battery, as the car is not used every day. Also, the output was simply not enough to keep the phone charged when Autoguard was running. On long journeys the phone battery would still drain. Ideally I needed a plain 2 amp charger which could be left plugged in and which can be quickly connected with my phone when I get in the car and pop the phone into the screen-mounted holder. No faffing about. This little beauty does the job and it has no LED to drain the car battery. It stays plugged in to the rear passengers' 12v power socket (it's a Jaguar) and is connected via a 3 metre flat "noodle" cable which is hidden away all the way to the windscreen corner.
