See at night AND during the DAY
This cord is the larger size cord (similar to parachute cord) that's common in camp stores. It's not the skinny skinny cord that comes with ultra-lite tents (which I guess is 1.5 mm cord). I wasn't sure, and didn't consider this when I ordered.Looks like good stuff. I've used this type of cord for years. The approx 3x cost increase for reflective is OK. (I also have thicker reflective cord for running lines on my kayak). Simple reflection test, this stuff is bright! It's got tiny glass beads like traffic signs and safety gear--reflects right back at the source.I bought the orange. It's very bright.I wanted reflective--so I could spot it at night, but I also want to be able to see it during the day (all this so I don't trip over tent lines). For this reason I wouldn't recommend the darker colors for tent lines.

Great cordage!
This stuff is great! Extremely reflective! Really jumps out at you when you're looking for something you just dropped in a dark room, or forest, for that matter. It was a little thick to fit through some lanyard holes, but you can gut it just like paracord, and then it fits fine. Really bright color, and darn near glows in the dark. Highly recommended!

Great visibility - doesn't stretch - fairly soft touch!
Great rope - I used it this fall as part of a bear bag setup and it works great, is super visible at night, and is fairly easy on the hands compared to spectra-type lines. Would also make great lines for staking out a tent or tarp - you'll never miss it at night with a headlight on!

Great tent or awning stake out line - easy to see and very reflective
I replace all of my tent and awning stake out lines with this reflective cord so it is more easily seen in the day and at night.

Typical BlueWater high quality.
BlueWater makes fabulous caving and climbing ropes and this is consistent with their high quality. This is a little heavy for some purposes such as ultralight backpacking tent lines (1.5 or 2mm is better), but being 3mm and harder than typical p-cord it is easy to untangle and a good choice for canoeing bear bags.
