Bought this new grinder along with a new Bambino Plus and have been quite pleased with the ease of use of this Breville product- super easy to set up and clean it every other day - dialing in the right grind size will take some patience as your bean quality/type will determine what your taste preference is but I was able to dial in a setting after multiple attempts and we are now pulling very tasty espresso shot’s consistently on a daily basis…another bonus is this unit has a very small footprint on your counter and looks great! Glad with our purchase of this grinder and highly recommend it !

It’s a great product

Great breadth of choices and very easy to set up and use! If you are nervous about grinders and being able to adjust it to the right grind as well as the right amount this is your grinder! Quite intuitively made. Noise level is low, capacity is great! I don’t notice any static so the grounds come out clean.

I purchased a Breville Bambino Plus and quickly realized that the blade grinder I was using was not adequate. Looking around there are a multiplicity of gear type grinders and decided to go with the one made by the same manufacturer as my espresso machine.This machine could grind directly in the portafilter from the Bambino and had a container that slipped under the machine into which you could prepare a grind for later use. Control is excellent allowing you to go from a coarse to fine grind with an easy to control knob and display. Time/grind amount is easy to set in very fine increments allowing you to get accurate delivery for consistent coffee every time. Presets for amounts are also provided to make it easy to duplicate amounts when grinding for a single or double shot.Cleaning was occasionally problematic as grounds would get caught in the gear teeth and would prevent the top gear being reinstalled. I had to take the machine and physically invert it to clear the excess grounds on one or two occasions. It is important to clean after each session.Pros:1. Provides consistent and repeatable grinds for your coffee.2. Easy to set up and use.3. Nice integration with other Breville products.Cons:1. Sometimes difficult to clean well.Thoroughly recommended.
