Saddlebags for Suitcases (Equestrian Travel Classics) Paperback – Illustrated, October 1, 2001

This book is another example of the fine collection published by the Long Riders Guild, they bring the reader the experience of Long Riders from the turn of the century to present day. It does not matter if you are a rider or even a horse person the experiences, the challenges, and the horse bring together life changing events in the life of the rider. In the case of May Bosanquet she presents her story in a way that takes you along with her on her ride across Canada in 1939, her experiences are yours including the emotion felt by an English woman as the war in Europe and England becomes a reality. I hated to come to the end of the book, a great read.

So far every book from the Longriders Guild is wonderfully written and takes the reader immediately to another time and place!

I ordered it for my father who read it originally when it first came out. It was great that I was able to find it easily and it quickly got delivered to his address.
