I am from a Bai family in South-West China. Bai is one of the 55 Chinese minority ethnicity groups, and my maker is Grandma Su, a master of tie-dye. Tie-dye is the very technique that gives me the vivid colours and incredible patterns. It is also the reason why I need to be handled with love. Grandma Su and the other Bai people use only natural herbs to make us in their homes. That is why our colours might wear off a little bit for the first few washes, but I promise everything would be just fine afterwards. There are a few simple tips to keep me look fabulous. * Please soak me in salt water for half an hour before the frst wash (a tablespoon of salt per litre would do) . * Pleaese keep me away from the rest of your laundry, or just with similar colours. I can be of use for years and years, and I hope that I can company you for a long, long time. Let me meet your friends, families, children and grandchildren and pets.
