The Very Best!
Absolutely the very best concentrated tomato paste. Use 2 cans of Imported San Marzano Tomatoes (Carmelina San Marzano... or Cento) make sure they are imported from Italy and they are whole tomato's. Do NOT use crushed or puree. Add 1 can of the La Bella concentrated paste. Add 1 cup of red wine, 1 Table spoon of garlic salt, 1 Table spoon of sugar, a handful of chopped basil. NO Oregano. A pinch of thyme can also be added. NOW for the best tip you will ever have...In the pot you are going to use put in about 1/8 to 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Now put in the concentrated paste and fry over medium heat for 10 mins stirring regularly to avoid sticking and burning. Now add the 2 cans of tomato's after you squeeze and break up the whole tomato's by HAND! Now add all of the ingredients. Cook under very low heat stirring often to make sure you don't burn the bottom! Cook for at least 1 hour. You can make the day before (it is much better).Use any pasta or ravioli to make an incredible dish. If you can find get Rana fresh ravioli, it is by far the best.I have worked many years developing this recipe please do not deviate from any of the ingredients. Bunno Appetite
