Love the concept - simple plant bases dishes, 7 ingredients or less; with minimal fuss so you can use every day !
I was not sure what to expect when I purchased this book as their were no reviews at my time of purchase but the concept of a plant based book with each recipe having 7 ingredients or less sounded amazing as though I have a vast library of plant based books, the majority feature complex ingredients, lots of them and great expense in procuring some of the ingredients - and then I find I simply do not have enough time to sit there and start working through the steps . Therefore this book fits the bill. Its divided into 7 chapters: Start (breakfasts), fresh (appetizers), fast -(simple fast meals to whip up in a short amount of time) nourish (which essentially means main courses), gather - (meals and snacks to be shared), sweets - (desserts of course) and then basics with things that you can use to add to other recipes or use on their own such as cashew cream, yogurts, stocks and sauces. The thing that stood out to me most beyond just 7 ingredients was the simplicity of each recipe. This is a book that more than any other I am likely to keep close at hand in a kitchen or take with me to the market so I know what to buy and how to make it. Its great knowing that I can actually come home from work or get up in the morning and whip up something healthy and plant based, without taking up too much time or creating much mess. The dish from the cover is amazing, a simple pea soup using frozen peas, radish and spinach which I have made and taken with me to work as a way to sneak in extra greens. Also the ice cream - banana and walnut with caramel sauce which contains no refined sugar - most of my vegan books require different syrups in desserts which I do not care for, this one gets sweetness from banana and dates., and as my kids love ice cream I can just feel a little better about serving this. Next I plan on tackling some of the breakfast dishesWhat a great concept for a book that recognizes that fact that many of us do not want a laundry list of ingredients or steps to create something healthy! A must have for me

Brilliant! One of a kind.
Instagram is where I first encountered the recipes of Mrs. Serano. Been anticipating this book for a couple of months and now that I have a copy, I’m thrilled! I went vegan in August and of the many fab cookbooks I’ve collected, this one stands apart. The flavor combinations in this book are wildly compelling and loaded with simple, yet modern ideas. The fact that each recipe is complete in seven ingredients or less is a subtle punctuation to the creative sophistication behind each dish. Loads of variety and seasonally minded. There’s a European sensibility that stands tall while warmly inviting fusion in many light dishes and wholesome centerpieces. No pastiche here, these recipes are one of a kind and stand alone. Although I love all my cookbooks, if I could only keep one, this would be top of the stack. What’s more, the design is sleek and the images pop with vibrancy that looks effortless. This little number is rock solid from cover to cover. I’m starting with the millet porridge w/ orange-roasted rhubarb or maybe the smoked carrot lax bites. This book is a game changer for me. Enjoy!

Stunning photos and unique vegan recipes
This book was mentioned in a blog I follow and when I saw the Kindle version on sale, I snapped it up. I’m two-thirds through and have highlighted so many recipes to try. Gorgeous photos, well-written intros and recipes, my only stumbling block is that the measurements are in liters and grams. Using Google, conversions should be easy. I’m fairly certain no one at next month’s whole food, plant-based potluck will bring one of these recipes!

Inspiration from photos
I don't like cooking, even less reading recipes, but photos inspire me. Vegan in 7 has many lovely pictures which entice me to try out what is pictured. From 3 cookbooks I bought, this one finally fits my bill.

Much Recommend!
A lovely cookbook. Culinary feat in 7 or fewer ingredients much appreciated. The range of recipes. Beautiful photos of plant-based creations nestled in appealing ceramics. Nice section on suggested pantry occupants.

Metric units, not US measures
This book uses metric units of measurement. If that’s okay with you grab it. It does have some great sounding recipes. Otherwise, move on.

I really love this book
I really love this book, I'm amazed how good and quick the recipes are. My favourites to feed my unsuspecting omnivore husband are the mexican bean chilli, the stir fry with spicy sticky cashews (good as a snack too), the pasta with tapenade and the soup on the cover is so quick (minus the radishes garnish though which I didn't enjoy). I've bought chick pea flour and liquid smoke to help with some recipes. Plus, I appreciate that only a couple of the recipes include tofu!

It's a perfect book!
I have bought this book last month and I have already made 18 recipes from it. Every single one was delicious! This book is perfect, really. It helps me to eat a variety of foods that I wouldn't think to buy on my own (like rhubarb, beetroot, asparagus). All the recipes are well-balanced and healthy, no need to count the calories. I have been vegan for 9 years and this is my all-time favourite cookbook. Don't hesitate, this book will improve your life.

If you are vegan buy this book and if you’re not!!!!
A really excellent book! The smoking burgers are delicious and because there are so few ingredients, the recipes are really easy to follow. A fab addition to my vegan collection. She also uses ingredients in an unusual way so the pastry for the tomato tart is with oats and chia seeds but it works.

A must have for new and old vegans.
Absolutely brilliant book. I've been vegan a couple of years but tended to eat the same things. This book has some great recipes and all under 7 ingredients. Love it and will use it loads.

Best vegan cookbook out there.......
Absolute magic.... I've been cooking vegan food for many many years.... I have hundreds of plant based cookbooks but for me this is the absolute best.... I hate long ingredient lists.. Its so off putting... and I don't want to spend hours in the kitchen either..... Buy this book... I cant tear myself away from it..
