Very good!
Really good, solid product. Much easier to use and much more stable than the type that have the three washer type screws you adjust. This has made shooting my panos much easier.

Sturdy and stable.
Works just as intended, secure support for my 6 lb seestar s50 telescope. A little difficult to get threads started on bottom of scope especially on a dark night, so do hold your telescope securely until you're sure it's screwed in. A big time saver to assure scope is leveled.

Excellent control
These are really excellent performance-wise! I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Having tried Neewer's 50mm diameter leveling base (GM11) I've found that although it locks solidly this one is even more easily locked fully steady. Being a larger diameter ball it also offers a bit more tilt which can be nice. The build quality is excellent and the more standard/symmetrically shaped adjustment knob is great; it doesn't get in the way of other gears like the GM11 despite being repositionable, and although you get less leverage than an eccentric knob it locks easily without torqueing hard thanks to the larger diameter ball base. This knob is also adjustable.Overall, you get a really great performant leveling base out of this product and as long as it isn't ridiculously large for your tripod (such as smaller travel tripods) this would make a great addition to a fluid head or any ball head that you might want to use a panorama feature while leveled.

Game changer for tripod users
This is such a great idea! If you’re someone who uses a tripod when photographing, you already know how frustrating and time-consuming it can be to get the camera perfectly level. If you’re like me, you have probably missed a photograph or two while trying to level the tripod. The Tripod Levelling Base from Neewer is the solution to your tripod-levelling woes. You simply mount it between your tripod and camera, then to level your camera you just unlock one knob and move the levelling base around until the camera is level. There’s even a little bubble level so you can see when it is set.It is very well made and has a precision feel to it. The tilting base is dampened so it has some resistance when it is unlocked, and it moves very smoothly.Highly recommended.

Solid construction. Firm movement.
Any leveling base is going to save you a lot of aggravation in getting the correct alignment of a camera to the true horizon. Playing around with the tripod legs one by one is awkward, time consuming and could be a disaster if the whole works accidently collapses while a telescoping leg is not secure on steep terrain. Even setting up a tripod on the shoulder of a road or an embankment will need safe efficient leveling.I haven't mounted mine on a tripod yet because I'm still deciding which tripod will get this setup. The movement of the hemisphere is very firm. It often took me a lot of effort to get it to even budge but once it could be made to free up it was good for the rest of a session - but the next day I'd be needing to do that all over. I'm not aware of an adjustment to fine tune that characteristic. The online description has some graphics and notes I consider to be incorrect. The knob push-pull does not unlock or lock the hemisphere. That would be great if it did but all that happens is that the plastic T grip is spring loaded to seat on the head of the threaded bolt to turn it, and the T grip can be pulled out against the force of its internal spring so it can be turned without it loosening or tightening the bolt. That's just like the motion of many photographic clamping accessories to adjust them in tight spaces. The little screws with pointed tips that are set at an angle inwards on the top surface are a nice addition to help secure your regular tripod head from spinning loose. In addition there is a thin layer of soft material to prevent surface slippage. The leveling bubble protrudes far enough that it should be visible after a head is mounted on this.
