Bought as a gift for a friend who was suffering with panic attacks. She says they help so much with it being so portable, she always has one with her and it helps to encourage a calming breath until the panic subsides.

i got these and both my son and i have anxiety issues.i find this does help to calm me down.It just makes you take a moment out of the situation and slow down, which does calm me.i do find this a help and worth it

Not quite sure why I bought this no instructions so don't know if there is a way you breath with it, not found it to be much use for me so gave it away.
