Nice addition
These portafilter wipes are a must-have for any espresso lover. They are disposable, compostable, and barista-grade towels that can clean and sanitize the portafilter of any espresso machine. They are 4" x 8" in size, which is ideal for wiping the portafilter basket, spout, and handle. They are soft, absorbent, and lint-free. They can remove coffee grounds, oils, and residues from the portafilter and prevent clogging and bitter taste. They come in a pack of 280, which is enough for a whole year of daily use. They are a great product that I use every time I make espresso.

Light thin but tough - perfect for a coffee bar
I had been making my own small "sheets" by cutting up paper towels because having a small paper towel to clean up little spots, ground coffee, water, cleaning the grinder, scale, portafilter basket, etc...all of those little things need to be wiped. There are some things that would do better with a moist towel but since this is for home, that's not really efficient and leaving out a moist towel is just a host for bacteria.Kaffi has come out with something that is sorely needed. Thin but very tough little sheets that make it very easy to clean up small messes around your coffee station. I was a little skeptical when I first saw them that they'd be strong enough to hold up but they are more than strong enough and surprisingly absorbent.

Already seeing the benefit
Like many others I was using kitchen towels to wipe or clean my portafilter baskets, portafilter screens, and espresso machine shower head. Sometimes I would find lint or bits of grounds that I missed.I just started using these and I'm already getting much better results. One wipe is enough to clean the portafilter basket twice and wipe the hot parts of the machine down once I'm finished. It's definitely a neat thing to have around and with how many came in the package I expect these to last quite a bit. They're sturdy, lint-free, and in my opinion definitely worth it.

Solid Buy In My Book
As a new owner of an espresso machine, I think these are a better/easier means of cleaning the remaining grinds out of the portifilter and getting ready for the next shot. I was using paper towels and that seems more wasteful than these do and I don't want to rinse or use a cloth towel reach time. So for me, it's a go dawg!

It gets the job done
The media could not be loaded. In my espresso routine, after pulling the first espresso shot, I wash and dry my portafilter with a microfiber towel before pulling the next shot to ensure its not wet, and I could never get it fully dry without spending more time than I really felt like doing before I've had my coffee. This led me to purchase a second portafilter to solve this problem - but this meant more washing and cleaning albeit after I've consumed my coffee. This solution worked fine and all was well in the world until I recently purchased an aftermarket espresso filter basket - now I was back to where I was before.Enter this towel, first-use, I simply wiped it after the first shot without washing it and it was surprisingly effective. Ok, so million dollar question: how is it different from any other papertowel or cloth? It is only slighly different, here's how:- It does not absorb the liquids and get completely wet, yet it removes the remnants of the used portafilter mostly well.- It is effective for multiple uses, surprisingly.- It is compostable unlike standard paper towels.I've used it this way for a few days now and while I've encountered a couple of times where a wipe and use did not work and had to wash it - all the other times, I've used this towel and its been perfectly fine. I used a single towel 5 times or so, and could've kept going but I had a stubborn spot and decided to get a new towel and it still didn't work and ultimately had to wash it, which immediately worked. So the other million dollar question - will I purchase this again? probably not,By the way, I opened it by opening the side flap, but then saw there is a perforated opening on top much like a tissue box. So I taped the side up and cut open the perforated piece. Don't make that mistake.

No more paper towels or towels
Love this cleaning paper! I don’t need to clean my portafilter using paper towels! It won’t leave anything in the filter! Highly recommend!

You make espresso. You care about quality and cleanliness, so get these and do it right
Good value for what you get. I had my doubts that they'd help, but they kinda do. Long story short, if you're the kind of person that has gotten into espresso making, and frankly you wouldn't have unless you enjoy the process and care about the quality of the result, then you will likely find these beneficial. They don't leave particles or fibers behind to clog things and they clean residue so that it's not fouling the flavor and crema next pull. Recommended
