Wonderful Idea 💖
We got this for my 17 year old sister who collects pressed Pennie’s. She was so excited about the journaling concept, the beautiful quality of the cover and just the overall design. I think she was hoping for something held more Pennie’s but she was ecstatic about how special this gift was. We loved it and would recommend!

The solution to memories
So I really enjoy this product, the leather bound cover makes it sturdy enough but also doesn't leave me wondering if it will last during adventures to the great out doors for my pressed pennies. Also the elastic band and metal clasp instead of a button make it less bulky. It holds a great amount of pennies which was my problem with the last collector book. It fits in my back pocket if I want it to. I'm a big fan of the product.

Expensive but worth every PENNY lol
Yes, this is more expensive than other similar products. However, it is definitely worth the cost. It is made very well and will undoubtedly last. They do make and sell some refill pages, which I find will be useful in the future. I like that there's a book included for memories. As the coins age and change color over time they can become difficult to read, this will ensure I know where each one came from and when! Love it. I'm planning on buying a second for foreign coins/money that I've kept as souvenirs over the years.

Great way to store pennies
I am a pretty avid collector of pressed pennies, having amassed over 400 in the past 20 or so years. However, I had no good way of storing/displaying them, and they were just sitting in a jar. I purchased this, along with several refill packs, to finally organize them in a meaningful way. This is just what I wanted! I took out the journal and larger coin pages, and use only the penny pages - there is plenty of space when using just those for a large quantity of pennies. I currently have 16 pages in there, which adds up to 512 slots; any more than that, you will need a second book (not to mention it is heavy, as mine weighs 2.5 lbs with roughly 415 pennies lol). Perfect, will definitely be buying another as my collection grows. The best part is that they included three pressed pennies (from places I'd likely never go tbh) with my order - thanks for helping me expand my collection! :)

Noticeable Issues, Not really expandable, Should just include the bonus sheets.
There are two plastic penny sheets has 4x4 double sided grid, with two pages you can slide into the center. (64p each)The journal has enough pages for 18 sets of 16 pennies (288p). Each set has a 4x4 grid to match the penny sheets, and 3 pages of note space, except the last set with only one notes page.Just got my book in and have been organizing and placing my collection. I picked this one because I liked the idea of being able to add more sheets as I get more pennies and the notebook with it to help chronicle where I got each one. While loading the pennies I kept noticing the sheets slide around making me realize how insecure the pages themselves are since they're only held in by friction with the journal and the elastic strap. The first page advertises itself as a change pocket, but I feel pretty confident any amount of change would cause it to slip out. Then while logging the pennies I realized the next problem, adding sheets means the pages in my journal will be all out of order since they have to be added to the center. This means I would need to go ahead and commit to getting the extra pages before logging anything into the journal past Penny Page 4 or take out up to 64 pennies to expand the pages. Finally the journal has enough space to log 288 pennies, but only enough sheets come with it for 128, (plus the bonus sheet for 18 bigger coins) The extra add-in sheets bring in enough for 256 pennies, leaving only 2 extra sets (32p) worth in the journal. This is only enough space if you for some reason made a mistake in the journal and wanted to just start over, but not even close to enough to entertain a third set of add-ins.Either the journal shouldn't have that much note space, or it should just include the extra two sheets as part of the notebook and NOT advertise itself as expandable. Its just too expensive to have this huge problem that requires me to pay for shipping again to complete the product. The sheets could still be sold as replacements for lost or damaged pages, but with the current layout of the product a second set is just mandatory. Having to pay shipping twice makes this a $40 journal and I don't know if that's really worth it. Ultimately the math came out to about 15 cents per penny if you want to compare the quality to other storage options.I love my penny collection and was excited for a nice way to store and display them, but this just disappointed me.Edit: While I stand by my review, I feel I might have been a bit too harsh in the rating. I've been comparing it to other things to try to find better solutions for storage and display and this is one of the better options per penny, as far as casual display is concerned. I bumped it up to 4 stars because none of the issues have changed, but are less cumbersome than my initial experience made me expect.

Love it!
Me and my gf travel to a lot of tourist attractions and we love getting medallions and pressed pennies from these places. We wanted a good book to keep our pennies in and I stumbled across this one. It's a great souvenir because it even includes pages for notes and dates! The leather cover in different colors is also a very nice touch. Also, when you order these they throw in a unique pressed penny to start your collection! So cool! I really love these compared to the junk they sell in the gift shops that are just plastic covers and very plain. I wish they sold these in the gift shops instead! I definitely recommend this product and we also got the medallion book as well!

Excellent Purchase
Bought this in brown and purple for my children as we’ve been collecting pennies when we travel. This portfolio and journal is perfect for them to keep their pennies safe while also documenting their adventures! When we received the package they were so surprised and excited that inside was a bonus penny. Such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend for other penny collectors!

Beautiful Colour!
I picked the Green colour for the book and it is so vibrant! The leather is thicker than i expected and great quality. The elastic around the front holds the pages in the book and i dont think it will break any time soon. The plastic inserts hold the old 25c coins nicely in the back but the pennys are a little more squished in. I would recommend hammering all your pennies flat if curved before putting them in the book. I love that i am able to buy more inserts when i eventually run out of room! Overall this is a great product and i hope it will last much longer than my previous book. 10/10 would recommend.
