It's a lovely and reasonably priced aftershave balm that leaves a good texture and works well even for head shaving. A little goes a long way and the scent is lovely but not too overpowering. Not sure about the claims of soothing razor burn though - It soothes it somewhat but not completely, hence the 4 stars.

This is a great balm to use post-shave. It’s soothing, goes on easily and the fragrance is really nice. A little goes a long way though, as I found when I was a bit too liberal with it the first time I used it! I’d definitely recommend it, and it’s made by an independent British manufacturer.

Instant success. Scent ? fantastic, Longevity ? great, value for money, put it this way I've spent large sums for Aftershaves that do not smell as advertised, and linger for an hour or less.I applied a very small amount of this, and then spent a good few hours Hedge Trimming, and other gardening tasks. When I came back home my wife said that Aftershave Balm is just so lovely, not overpowering, just a beautiful subtle scent. So Longevity excellent.

When the bottle arrived the plastic seal had be opened.the fragrance is nice and leaves the face smooth after a shave.I would have given the balm 5 stars but you don’t expect something that you buy as a new product to be open.clearly someone had decided to smell it or dab a little on.

I've been wet shaving the traditional way for years now with DE razor and badger brush, I use shaving soaps or shaving creams and can't abide the mass produced 'muck in a can' that modern shavers use.Unfortunately I've got very sensitive skin and suffer from razor burn on a regular basis. Up until now I've had to fork out for expensive aftershave balms to remedy this problem but being on a budget this isn't always practical. I'd been searching for an affordable balm that actually works for ages and had all but given up until I tried Bart's Balm. Bart's ticks all the boxes, it's affordable, it's stopped my skin irritation in it's tracks and as an added bonus it's handmade and not mass produced like those other products!Bart's Balm comes in a handy pump dispenser and 2 squirts is enough to cover my beard area so it'll last a long time. It smells fantastic and leaves the skin instantly soothed and moisturised. I'd go as far as saying it's better than some of the products I'd tried that are double the price!I'd recommend this product wholeheartedly and will definitely be a repeat customer. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
