An amazing product
My family and I are away from home for 3 months. My 4 year old usually builds with the Mega blocks and wood blocks we have at home. It gives her plenty of creative building time that she can i corporate her Barbie’s and little people figurines.I refused to purchase those blocks and Lego’s while away from home when we have soooo many at home. So…, I ordered and tried this product after my daughter had a fit not being able to take the blocks home from the library where we are for the summer.Boy…. Was this an amazingly smart purchase. The magnets are strong and of great quality. My little dog hasn’t been able to grip them to try and steal them away, which is an amazing win. However the dog just slips and slides with the same magnet over the floor. It’s hilarious to watch the dog be entertained as well with these magnetic building shapes. And for the record… my 4 year old has been playing with them for 5 hours non- stop.We all had to endure a melt down because I made her take break to eat and drink. My 1 year old niece has been like big foot knocking down the creations. But even she has found pleasure with these things.Sum up:Keeps my 1 year old niece, 4 yr old Dtr and 8 yr old son entertained with creating for hours. If you’re indecisive like me, buy it!You won’t regret it.And…. I’ m so grateful for the little people and wheeled car that was included.

Great quality and variety
My son loves these magnet tiles. He especially loves trying to figure out new ways to construct roofs. He also especially liked that there is a wheel base for him to build cars and trains. He likes to build the car and crash it and watch the pieces go everywhere. He does this for hours. I believe these challenge him in the best way and make him think critically. I would much rather see him play with these than watch TV or play video games. This kit includes just enough tiles that he can build a house and a car. This is a great set. I highly recommend.

A nicely designed set, with a mild quality-control problem
Ok first of all we have in our home mostly Picassotiles and Magna-Tiles. These are actually better in 2 ways: 1, the appearance is more attractive because they don’t have the same internal structures (Picasso Tiles have an internal square (or corresponding triangle, etc) in the middle for support and Magna Tiles have all kinds of internal X type structures). These ones have the center “pane” shaped kind of like a gem which I imagine could add good rigidity without being so obvious. This may make those (especially Magna) more durable for extreme play, but if your kids are not super rough I don’t think that’ll be a big concern. I put a picture. Orange is Magna, red is this, yellow is Picasso. Like Picasso and unlike Magna, the center “pane” is inset, so if you slide these around on hard floors or concrete, only the outer frame will get scratched up and not the whole thing.Anyway the second thing I think is nice is that the magnets in these are noticeably stronger than the others. Maybe 30% stronger. So that means stronger builds. They work completely normally with the other sets so even if you have a lil collection already like we do, these will make a good addition. Our kids were also really fascinated by the figurines in this set and also really appreciated the exotic pieces such as the operable doors and windows, and the “frame” square that’s open in the middle.Ok so now here’s the main “con” - in my set, one of the “cars” had a bent axle (to the point the wheels couldn’t work right). I was able to use a pair of pliers, after gently removing a wheel and sliding it out of the car, to repair this defect. Due to the repairability I’m deducting only 1 star for this QC problem, but that’s pretty embarrassing and they should pay more attention. Still though I do think it’s a good set and a good value, and this type of toy has had a huge lifetime in my house (my 5yo has had these since about 2 ½ and still uses them weekly).

Best magnetic tiles we've ever used
My son has 7 sets of these magnetic tiles from 7 different companies. This set is hands down the best one. The magnets are strong on these and it comes with a little bit of everything to be able to build. It even comes with a little train car, tiles that have doors that articulate to open and close, and two of the oversized platform tiles-AWESOME.The colors are striking compared to other brands. They're rich and bold. I appreciate that the pieces have an angled design in them, but are still completely see through. Many companies have diamond-like designs, which still allow light to pass through, but make it hard to actually peer into your child's structure. These are really just so beautiful. I also can't believe the price point. For the 114pc set the price sits at "$44.99" at the time of this review. That's a sales price for a lot of companies. Even the "how to" booklet that comes with the set is nice. It's actually like a little book instead of a pamphlet, and the dolls are a nicer quality than the other two sets that we have that came with people. I'm impressed with this set and can't be happier. Can't recommend enough!!

Fun Colorful Magnetic Tiles
This was a Christmas gift for my son and he has been enjoying building tall, colorful towers and vehicles. The magnets stick well but could be stronger for a better hold. We like that you can make quite a few things with the 114 tiles. My son is now requesting a second set to make a giant fort/castle. I'd say this toy is 100% kid approved.
