SuperFOIL SFBB Breathable Membrane (1.5m x 25m)

Quality vapour foil, I have used it under my wooden floor. I have done foil then foam panels and the thick wooden floor. In terms of layers I will describe what I did, so 1mm foil, 5 mm foam panel and 20mm wooden floor. This makes is robust and sound proof! It’s in my study on the first floor and my wife can no longer hear any chair movements or me banging on the keyboard! Foil was easy to cut and I have used stapler to fit it in place. Quality foil for the good price. Highly recommended. On the photo I have to different foil types. This is is not glossy one, had to use old one first before I use this one lol hahahah. Great to line your summer house or shed with helps to keep dampness down from condensation in your outdoor wooden buildings which often happens in our climate and can affect the timber overa period of time. Having used this I can highly recommend it can save you money in the long run.

Very strong fabric. Will not tear however hard you pull it. It stops rain penetrations but allow walls to breath. Just what I needed on my garage.

Excellent product, good service. It’s like a roll of cloth Matt silver one side, white on the other. The 1.5metre width was difficult to work with, I needed assistance to help me cut and fit it to my loft rafters. Luckily it is very strong, easy to cut and very difficult to tear.

Brilliant stuff. If you are making even a shed or workshop like me use this on it. Staple it onto the wood work and it makes it water proof under the cladding, yet breathable. Easy product to use. Cuts easy with a shap blade, just pull it along and hold it tight. Knife through butter!

You get a lot... it’s also very strong and durable...I’ve used it for an outside shed... i used it as an extra layer for the floor... also an extra layer for the roof... i stapled in on - it didn’t rip when i stretched it.

It’s one of those jobs that is not easy to judge any objective outcome. Used it to cover over an additional layer of lift insulation- to act as a radiant layer - both to keep beet out in Summer and to keep heat in in winter. I think house appears cooler on those baking hot days- test will be how warm it feels upstairs this winter.Not an easy job, cut it up in sections, applied with overlap, in order to get around rafters. As underlying loft insulation is now nearly 30cm deep, difficult to stand on anything without spoiling the whole effect.
