My kids love it! Builds strong character!
My kids love these books! It introduces them to the world of mussar as much of the book follows the chovos hal'vavos.

Buy it! It's fantastic!
I wrote the same review for this whole series. My kids love these books. No, my whole family loves the Middos Series. Make that, every person to whom I have recommended these books and they have bought and read them raves about this series. Kids aren't supposed to like "religious" books, right? These present and explain middot (character traits) and mussar (refining one's character) in such a clear, accessible, and uplifting manner. My kids bring them to me on shabbat (and other days of the week) and ask me to read them for story time. Buy them, buy them, buy them, buy them. Then make every adult and kid you know read them.

A Great Book!
I've read several of the books from this series and as a secular Jew, I think they're great for kids, regardless of age or religion. What we need now is a version of this book with the religious terms edited out. I found that as an adult, the characters gave me an insight into the bad habits we easily develop; audacity, uncontrolled anger, sadism, severe anxiety, dishonesty, and countless others.Take the character "Chutzpah Dick" as an example; he releases stress by speaking inappropriately. Or take Worrying Willie; he represents someone who allows his fears to take control of his life.We need a non-religious version of this book, with the same illustrations. It's important for kids to learn how to avoid bad habits.
