Great deal but cheaper materials than IKEA. Go with the 3 cube if you don’t like assembly.
The assembling was a notch worse than IKEA. Same screw and turning bolt to lock in a hole for structural supports, but the bolt locks are not metal - 2 didn’t work correctly. The holes these go into are an inch deep so you push the turning plastic bolt locks into the holes securely - IF the hole was burrowed correctly. Everything else seemed to work well but it’s IKEA quality so I’m honestly not sure how long it will last. The 4 cubes have 3 central vertical potentially structural cube separating particle board pieces and two thicker denser outer end supports. I’m 6’1” 175, but idk if it could support 250 or more.. also the 4 feet they give you which screw into the corners so the bench comes off the ground are terribly made. They also give you 4 tacs? To hammer into the legs which aren’t slide proof. 2 feet are now split. DO NOT USE THEM. You can use the feet. But don’t hammer in or the fake wood will split! I want 2 new feet.

Good for the Price.
Turned-out to be perfect for our dog to sit in the office area front window of our home, so ideal for such a purpose as well as to sit on when changing shoes, etc. I opted to use gorilla wood glue on all of the wood dowels as I do not intend to ever take the unit apart. This approach made it extremely sturdy. Also like the fact you can store quite a bit of items in the four (4) bins, i.e. use it for the dogs leashes, etc. as well as various magazines and office supplies. Would recommend it to others who are looking for similar use purposes. Take your time putting it together; I did it by myself, but it would be much easier with 2 people.

I really love my new bench!
This is perfect for my foyer, so we can sit down to take off or put on our shoes near the door. I love the storage cubby spaces under the seat. I wish there were color options for the seat pad, but I am still very happy with it. The price was great too. This bench is a very nice size as well.

Dont put together while pregnant!!!
Its so cute, don't advise putting it together while pregnant, its a pain in the ass when you can’t bend over or squat. Then when you locked the screws in and realize you put the dividers in backwards. You can not unscrew them while hugely pregnant so you say screw it, curse alot and debate on throwing it out the living room window. I didnt, I decided i could paint that little portion to match the wood and let it be. Definitely worth it, just don't put it together when pregnant!

Looks great... Terrible assembly parts!
I’ve been assembling products like this for years (either from Ikea, Target, other funishing stores, etc.) and never had issues with assembly instructions before. I consider myself very handy on this regard. There were a couple of instances that I had to start over, or reassemble some parts, but I’ve always managed to finish it, and the products looked and worked great afterwards. This bench was the first time (that I can remember) that I couldn’t finish assembling it 100%. Some of the screws on one of the cubbies divider didn’t fit at all. I even damaged one of the boards trying to force the screw to fit! Ughh...Super frustrating. I thought about returning it but I had already discarded the boxes (over confidence on my part!) and I realized that I would just get even angrier for having to deal with repackaging the whole thing and returning it!The final result is: the outer parts are attached great, but one of the dividers of the cubby is basically just held by one screw. It’s sturdy to sit, but one of cubbies divider is loose. You can’t tell by looking at it, but it wobbles if you try.It does look great and it fits perfectly on my entryway. I just wished the quality of the parts was a little better. Quality control... your turn!Hope it helps.

Missing parts
It’s really pretty, it’s sturdy. But the locking cams were not all there. I was short three cams. Very inconvenient when you are basically done except for locking it all down. The company thinks it will take a week but is definitely hedging the time frame. Making excuses 😡

Overrated piece of Chinese junk
I'm starting to get really frustrated w/ ordering furniture from Amazon. We're a busy family, we're not afraid to pay more to get quality, we think we're getting a good deal and instead anytime we get any of these American products, there's this giant "Made in China" sticker on it once you get it and the product itself is just total junk. This is made of cheap, brittle particle board, already crumbling when you take it out the box -- and you could hear it physically crumbling once the bench was done and my 5-year old son tried sitting on it. I'm certain that I tied all the screws in tightly, and it is still super wobbly and shaky. I don't think this will last more than a year's worth of use before it totally falls apart, and I guess that's kinda the point right?. It's basically furniture-version of fast food -- looks great in the ad, but in real life it looks like cheap plastic (and no, it's not really plastic, but it looks like crap IRL next to our "actually nice" furniture).I get the "outsource to China" thing .. it's way for nonsense middlemen like Bezos to become ultra-wealthy zillionaries by selling complete crap made by Chinese slaves at an incredibly markup. I just don't understand why Americans support outsourcing to China or why they're in favor to moving all their jobs overseas. Nobody wants to buy crap like this! It's a waste of time to order it, it's a waste of time to put it together, it's a waste of time to have it break before first use, and it's a waste of time to then get rid of it and trash it, all when you could have bought a solid quality instead that would've lasted for years. Ugh, China!

Walmart product, but ok and sturdy
The bench itself is very nice. Obviously cheaply made, but sturdy. Very much like ikea furniture.Mine shipped straight from Walmart! Turns out it is sold there for $20 less with free shipping.Mine also had a couple of dents on a couple corners, but since the dents were all on the back of the bench, I decided to just keep it and not hassle with returning it.
