I have used GHD for years and years and years but having recently gone platinum (bleach and toner every 5 weeks) my hair was starting to get very, very dry, and for the first time using my GHDs it really was noticeable just how drying they are at 185°c. So started the hunt for straighteners which have temperature control.After reading a lot of different articles I narrowed my options down to 2 sets. These cloud 9 ones and a much, much cheaper option.Like most things I know you pay for what you get and my GHD have served me well over the years so I dived in with these cloud 9 even though they are alot more expensive than the others I was considering.So happy I did. The quality is excellent from the straighteners to the faux leather case.I have a fine bob and after a much needed hair mask I dried my hair then switched these on. As my hair is so dry I opted for a low 120°c temperature and it was perfect. Perfectly smoothed and straightened my hair, I love the smaller narrow ceramic plates which allow you to get closer to the root and they glide effortlessly through the hair right to the tip. No drying out and I didn’t feel like I was torturing my poor hair.A few trims will sort out my damaged dry ends so in 6 months using these to avoid any further damage my hair will be perfect.

I like that you can alter the heat up to 200c. It heats up quickly and it really straightens out my curly red hair which is very thick.Hair feels smooth and silky, and stays that way all day.

Good delivery. Nice product, easy to use and so light. Bought these to replace a well known rechargeable unit. It was so heavy.These straightener's heat very quickly and so far I have only used them on a low setting. Would recommend them to anyone.

REALLY disappointed bought these after having my ghds for over 10 years! Pulls my hair hurts while straightening.
