This GPU works great on a Asus Sabertooth FX990 R2 motherboard. This motherboard is PCIE2 and the GT1650, which is PCIe3. is indeed backward compatible with this PCIe2 system. The video is fast and responsive but what surprised me if the pc boots up much faster than it did with the old gpu. It installs with bare minimum drivers from Microsoft though so I had to download the latest drivers from the Nvidia website to bring it to full functionality.

I bought on the recommendation of a Dell Super User after a lot of research this gpu as an upgrade from the original GT 730 gpu for my Dell XPS 8910. ( 17-6700 3.40 Ghz CPU 64 GB ram 460w psu) This Geforce GTX 1650 was touted as a "gentle upgrade" based on the interior space, possible overheating issues with AMD and the 8910 not being a good match for modern 3000 series Nvidia cards. Not a gamer this upgrade for for photo and video editing. Research advised to make sure than secure boot in the bios is disabled and although it was stated that no power was needed I found first time around that wasn't the case. Once I connected the six pin cable from the psu it fired right up, Nvidia recognized it and the appropriate drivers were installed. It runs super quiet and so far previous edited videos look really good. I'm glad I took the advice given and glad I got it from Amazon as it arrived three days earlier than promised. Thank You Amazon for another good purchase. I hope this is of some use especially if you own a Dell XPS 8910 and are thinking of upgrading.

Great card handles well. Fans spin up as needed doesn't run hot so quality with EVGA as expected.

Was looking to update an older computer, just needed a 6 pin power connector... fit in my Dell Optiplex 790 no prob... Tried it in a Dell Optiplex 7040, but It did not seem to work, I think it was a PCIE bus power limit issue.

It arrived so nice and the graphics card is good as new and the value good and no noise as well and it performs good the cooling and speed.

This card was able to resurrect my old pc nicely. It can handle many games at 1080p without hassle. This replaced my broken gtx 960. Nice build quality as well which is no surprise when it comes to MSI.

Pedimos este producto que nos trajeron a nuestro pais El salvador y cuando el tecnico realizo la instalacion se percato que no servia la tarjeta, entonces nos vendieron un producto muy malo que no sirve para nada gastamos el dinero y por las politicas de devolucion de devolverlo en un mes, nos era muy dificil devolverlo ya que estoy en otro pais, encontramos una persona que llega a USA pero llegaba el 2 Feb cuando el dia limite para la devolucion era el 1 de Feb, alfinal gaste mi dinero en una porqueria de producto que nisiquiera me van a reembolsar, si pueden buscar algun otro proveedor busquenlo por que este es una basura
