Not bad, but there are better ones out there..
This light is smaller than you think, and the light is not as bright as I would like. Also, LED work lights tend to be more directional than the old style incandescent troublelight. The worklight is slender to fit down into some tight engine compartments, but the directionality means you have to rotate the light "just right" to see what you're looking for.This was a gift, but if I was to buy another one, I'd get a fluorescent style that had a wider lit area. I believe Reelcraft sells some very nice ones, but the prices are a little steep (but most are made in the US, and the Reelcraft products we have in the shop at work are extremely well-built).

Handy light for a handy man!
It is exactly what my son had on his list to Santa. He will love it. He is quite the handy man around his house.

Does the job
This is an inexpensive shop light. Average Brightness. Buy more LED if you need a lot of light. No outlet on the handle. Feels cheap but it is an ok value.

Don't retract
Pros: Fairly bright and compact. Con: Last couple feet wont roll up without pushing it in. Definitly garage quality and not "shop" quality.
