Hesitated to buy at first because of the price, but this regret was immediately erased as soon as I opened the package. First of all, the artwork and characters are too cute not to admire, while the color and material of the chest itself is both sturdy and good enough to be a decoration on its own accord. Unlike most product images, this chest looks exactly like the pictures included, perhaps even nicer in person, and is exactly as described in the Product Features section on its page. As the title suggests, this chest is smaller than the ones you can find at your local retailer; it measures exactly 6 ½ H, 5 3/8 W and 7 1/8D overall; each of the two 7in-long drawers has a 5 7/8D opening, so any items measuring more than 6 3/8H-4 3/8W, or more than 2in thick won't be able to fit inside (used random items to measure full capacity, since this was purchased as a gift). However, this is meant to hold only the smaller and/or flatter objects, such as office supplies, small stationary, post-its, etc., and can surprisingly store more than its small size would otherwise suggest it can fit, especially with the top sections, so there isn't any issue. Everything is excellent and carefully crafted, and looks very good on my small shelf without taking extra space. Anybody looking for a small desk drawer that looks nice enough to display, minus the awkward bulk -or any fans of Sumikko Gurashi or other kawaii Japanese goods - should not hesitate to buy this product or gift it.

I use this product for my desk at work to hold sticky notes, extra black pens, and other extras I need. The top has two holders that some use for pens, but personally I feel they are too shallow for anything long. In them I place corrector tape, erasers, mini stapler, and information blocking roller.The small handles are actually very sturdy and I don't feel they would break easily. The very top lid I would be more gentle with as I have had other boxes with this type of lid crack easily. The design is very cute and well printed on, I have had this box for three months and no scratches are shown.I really do love this box, and it brightens my work day to have something so cute to hold my supplies.

Firstly, read all of the reviews, they provide a pretty accurate description of the product if you're wondering about purchasing it. Super cute and great for fans, provides adorable small item storage on your desk. However, as many comments state, it is plastic and kind of flimsy but not so bad that I won't rate 5 stars. But when you pay $22 for a cute little knick-knack/storage option, you can't expect much more. I still love it.

Honestly, I never really write reviews about things, but I wanted to for this.Pros:-great for jewlery, small things-you can put craft items in it (storage)-very cute.-the print stayed on well!-colors are vibrant and nice.-order arrived very quickly and neatly!cons:-plastic felt a bit cheap, don’t really know how to word it.. but felt like it could break if you dropped something too hard onto it.-strange smell when I first opened the product, but did go away quickly.-a lot smaller than I thought, but that’s probably my mistake, since I don’t really read measurements. (I compared my hand size to it).overall a pretty decent product. If you want something small and cute for room decor, I recommend this!

It fit well on my desk (that already didn't have a lot of space, so that's a plus for the small size). Like many others I put washi tape in the top flap, but then I put tools like tape cutters, small sharpeners, corner rounders in the top drawer and in the bottom drawer I put small-medium sticker sheets and diecut stickers. It's so cute and I also had this memo sheet (from daiso) that features this same collection of sumikko gurashi wearing cat costumes so I love that they match.

I got this for my friend for Christmas and I'm so excited to give it to her. We're both pretty crafty, and it looks like it will hold a decent amount of supplies. I love the little cubby on the top, it'll be perfect for washi tape, stickers, etc.!

I wanted this for a long time and finally did it! No regrets. It fits all the little desk bits perfectly, not too small, and doesn't take up the whole desk. ( I did measure before ordering and it was exactly as promised) Super cute, does not feel like cheep plastic like if feared. drawers and lid all move smoothly and I am very happy.

The media could not be loaded.  I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a cute storage drawer! I bought this when it was on sale for $22, it was originally $35 but its too pretty pricy. It’s super cute though and a perfect size, the height is around a plastic water bottle but a little shorter, i love it! Mine didn’t come in cracked and came in good condition!
